MS is proudly to release BIOS updates to support the upcoming AMD Raven Ridge processors, including AMD Athlon™ 200GE, 220GE, and 240GE APUs.... MSI BIOS update makes X470 and B450 Motherboards compatible with new AMD Raven Ridge Procs
Hiya, I think there is a little MS typo in the 1st line. Looking forward to AMD's lineup this year ^^
Would this be the proudly released BIOS update that erases the previous misstep in allowing overclocking for the Athlon 2XX APUs and locks the multipliers on those babies down? That proud BIOS? (As an aside, my 200GE is doing wonderfully at 3.9GHz/1.32V, and 51°C after 12 hours of Prime 95, using an old AM2-era heatsink & fan.) EDIT: That potential multiplier lockdown is just conjecture on my part. But, without it, it kind of seals the fate of the 220GE & 240GE to the NO SALE category.
First time using an MSI motherboard, i've had mostly Asus and asrock in the past but gigabyte as well. Msi's bios is the most lackluster in terms of features and UI. Is it like that in general?
