    So basically a Gaming X with ARRRRGEEEEBEEEEEE!!!11one

The clocks you can easily tune yourself with AB, unless the Z cards are very well binned (which I doubt).

Maybe if I had a windowed side panel I would care more for these lights...

Pretty pointless my MSI GTX 1070 x8 does 2050MHz out of the box boost and with manual overclocking i get 2088Mhz LOL yes a whole 38MHz with voltages set and power target maxed.

Mine came with only 1898-1938~ out of the box, but I too can get to ~2063MHz without much trouble. You have to be really, REALLY lucky to get a 1070/1080 (especially 1070) at a stable 2100... and beyond (lol!). :O

They could have just added an OC on the Gaming X's name instead.

Yep, my 1070 cannot reach 2100Mhz too, that is the barrier. If it touches it artifacts & crashes begin. But I believe that's being forced by MSI's voltage lock on their GPU, so all the Z series have to do, is allow for a slightly higher voltage to be achieved via a BIOS mod and thus allow anyone who owns the Z series to overclock beyond 2100MHz.

I'm really looking forward to people bringing the Z Bios to the X cards. I hope it is possible.
