Lots of interesting changes, thanks msi & unwinder. :)

    Edit:
quicksync still rocks, lol I even Oc'ed my gpu a little from 1250 (25x) to 1400mhz (29x) and now it can do 200fps, stock 188fps :D, that's more then enough
    [IMG]

If im not mistaken nvenc (shadowplay) does ~ 288fps but at a little worse quality - at least so they say, I didnt test it much., atm its a little buggy by overall usage.

I still have problems capturing huge screenshots with this version. I just tried Risen 3 in 9600x4000 and it doesn't even try to capture a screenshot.
I had the same issue with Blur at that resolution. It works with most games, though.

unwinder, I know this has been asked ad nauseam, but do you think it may be possible to add control over the VRM fan on a 295x2 card?

    Thanks again.

I've already answered it: no, sorry. There won't be low-level fan control in AB.

Gotcha. I didn't see it anywhere when I searched for it.

    Thanks for the answer!

Now with this version will my second GPU (R9 280) have voltage control? or I will still have to use trixx

I did a clean install with only keep settings with this version and it keeps crashing in Win8.1.This is only AB RTSS keeps running but all things show as 0 in the osd naturally.

I recommend doing the following if u haven't already:

    - Uninstall MSI afterburner
    - Do a complete gpu driver uninstall using DDU.
    - Reïnstall gpu driver
    - Reïnstall MSI afterburner

Do a uninstall without keeping your settings. Note them beforehand if you have changed some interesting stuff.
After a new reinstall you will have all fresh and can apply your settings again.

Sometimes with an old config file it can happen to have msiab crashing after an update. Clearing all settings to default will usually help.

    reduce GPU speed

Hi everyone! need help with my card. It was clocked by 1215 MHz by core, SO for SLI I decided to reduce its speed to 1202 via Afterburner. but it steel goes 1215 MHz when I monitor it by GPU-Z sensors. Help?

what does AB say in graph ?
I assume you have it set to -13mhz and have hit apply . You wouldn't have 2d/3d profiles , if so you need to change the 3d one to match -13 offset .

If nothing happens with 13 try -15 , you need to lower, change it enough (generally 13mhz steps ) .

Is there anyway to view the maximum gpu temp for example? I used to be able to see this at the top in the monitoring graph section but i noticed it has disappeared now. Thanks.

Hey Unwinder is it possible that now RTSS uses a different compression by intel quicksync making a little worse picture?

Im using the same 16mbps @ 90% quality as with MSI AB 3.01 and now its like I used 12 or 10mbps? Or am I imagining it :D

    thanks.

what skin are you using and what option skin composition mode in user interface ?

You should see min/max values on graph .

Edit: if you have column more than 1 ,the Min/max display is dynamically disabled if graph width is too small .
If so if you detach graph it should show up .

September is approaching, which means that 9 months of MSI's 64-bit OSD exclusivity period end soon. RTSS 6.2.0 with 64-bit OSD support available to any third party client applications will be launched on September 1st. So those who want to use RTSS in conjunction with EVGA Precision X 4.2.1 will get native 64-bit OSD support too.
