Hi guys, the Afterburner 3.0.0 Beta 8 is ready for you to download. this version supports the control of NVIDIA and AMD graphics card, if you get the card, you may try to play it. Change note: • The OSD server is no longer an explicit part of Afterburner, now it is optional and separately installable component similar to Kombuster. Included in archive with Afterburner. Please don't forget to install OSD server(RTSSSetup500.exe) • Added new server distributive with NVIDIA FCAT overlay support. • Added some Graphics card support. http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/msi_afterburner_beta_download.html
Thanks! I seem to have a problem with configuring VFW compression. when i click the configure button nothing happens. I have deleted the old config files aswell to be sure.
VFW configuration issue has been reproduced and will be fixed in the next beta, thanks for reporting!
OSD separate install now? This is awesome for people like me who have a G510 or the likes. Thanks Unwinder for making this optional.
Kudos to Unwinder for your continuous development of AB. I observed a small bug/annoyance related to the new "predefined fan curve" option: my existing fan curve is correctly shown as Custom, and switching to the Default profile shows me the default fan curve accordingly. Now when i switch back to custom without changing anything, my custom fan curve gets lost and the graph still shows the default curve. I can close the settings window via cancel so my curve is still there, but i expected the custom curve to stick when switching between both options.
It does't work that way like you're assuming, it doesn't allow you to switch between default curve and back to your own custom one, it doesn't allow you to work with multiple curves at the same time. Selecting anything from that list simple pre-lads some profile and overides currnt curve.
Dont get mad if its already been asked :O, but will this new sepperate RTOSD 5.0 work with older MSI afterburner version 2.3.1? Do I need to manually delete older v4 or just run setup installer? Thanks
RTSS v5.0.0 is designed to be used with 3.0.0 and newer. 2.3.1 cannot use a server installed outside its .\Bundle\OSDServer subfolder.
Fixed. The same problem could cause audio sources list to be empty, so I guess we'll upload beta 9 with fix for this problem (no other changes) in a day or two.
