You can address that by manually copying COD Chosts profile to Daylight profile in .\ProfileTemplates folder.

Nice. Can you give me exact Daylight executable name so I could add pre-defined profile for it to RTSS?

    Hey Unwinder,

Have you tried this link to register and hopefully have access to the Mantle API to implement Mantle recording in MSI Afterburner/RTSS?

    Good luck with it!

Ok so sorry if this is answered already but I need to know how to fix this.

I just switched over from 2.3.1 to Beta 19 and I cant seem to figure out how to set it to allow aero so I can record my desktop with no problem. I went into my files but in my OSDserver file there is no profiletemplates folder like before. there is just a DIBCACHE file. Is there a new way to allow aero or am I just having issues? Please help me!

MSI AB doesn't support desktop-recording with Aero enabled, so Aero is disabled when you hit record.

Then why was I able to do it 2.3.1? All I had to do was go through the files and open up the config folder in profiletemplates with notepad and change it to allow. But now in beta 19 I'm not seeing the the file I need. It's definitely possible.

Do you realize that with RTSS 6.0+ that it installs in its own path now and not in a sub-dir within MSI AB folders .
default path for profiletemplates is "C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\ProfileTemplates"

I never use recording so don't know on file editing .

    HELP.. Something is very wrong.

My MSI Afterburner settings has no Video or Screen capture Tab any longer.
I only have ( GENERAL - FAN - MONITORING - PROFILES - USER INTERFACE ) missing now are (on screen display - screen capture - Video capture)

I used this version 19 before with no problems, was able to screen capture and video capture. I recently wiped my drive and installed my OS brand new, Same OS, Windows 7 ultimate x64, I have updated all my drivers.

I have then redownloaded version 19 of this beta and I have no Screen or Video tabs or options, I can not take screen shots or anything now. What happened, How do I fix this? I even uninstalled and reinstalled MSI afterburner and still no luck.

I notice now, when I installed past versions of MSIAB, there was another on screen display program that was also installed, I do not remember what it was called but I notice I no longer have it now and it did not come with this version, is that why I do not have those options in the MSI settings now? if so, what was it called and where can I find it again?

By the way, my print screen does not work either if that is related.

you can delete the old folder (forget name) that had RTSS in it from 2.3.1 if you want .

when you run MSI AB do you see RTSS down by the tray running , also check taskmanger to see if its running .
IF not check if it is installed path like i mentioned above is C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server .
If you don't see it , you can install it from here "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Redist\RTSSsetup.exe

Not sure why your missing tabs, can't remember that coming up, maybe do search on this site . only thing I can think is some leftover files from older version ?

    SOLVED!.....

Ok, so I looked at a video of someone using MSIAB on youtube as an Instructional, (Hoping I might see what that old OSD program was called). I seen he had Riva tuner, I remember this installing with the new version of AB v.19 beta.

I could not find riva tuner anywhere, I even did a PC search and nothing turned up. I then redownloaded v.19 just to try again, I see it there in the download option, I uncheck MSI as I already have it so I can just download the Riva tuner, but it says it is 0.0mb in size, What?

but then I see its install location addy, I go to that folder inside MSI install and look through a few folders in there, I come across the RT install .exe, clicked it and Riva Insatalled.

Now suddenly my On screen display - screen and video capture tabs are showing up in my MSIAB settings. I tested it out and it is working!

I am so relieved. I use this program quite often and really dislike Fraps (which I own the full paid version and still prefer After Burner over it). I do not know what I would do without my MSIAB,

Very grateful for the program and to the person/s that have supplied it.
Thank you. Oh, And a big high five for making the video capture work for the desktop, This also allowed me to dump another program, please keep this feature in the future if you can.

    P.s
Was Riva tuner always the osd program that came with after burner or was there some other program, I could have swore it was something else.

does anyone know if MSI afterburner will fully support the MSI R9 295X2 cards
as i have one being delivered today.

would love full sensor and overclocking and voltage support...

I think I remember reading earlier in this thread that adding support for the R9 295X2 was one of the main reasons for updating this to a newer version (beta 20?) but then some discussion or argument happened and now it seems the next release will be a non-beta of Afterburner 3.0.0 or well I don't remember fully but someone else or the author of the program himself could probably answer better than I can.

    I guess thats, that then.

thought i would get a MSI card as its supported by MSI and has a massive AFTERBURNER picture on the box of the R9 295x2 and its not supported LMFAO...

It will definitively be supported eventually, probably in the next release even as beta 19 came out a little bit before the 295X2 was released so support for it would have had to be added in afterwards unless the author got a sample card from MSI early. :)
(Or MSI added it on their end or sent the necessary data.)

No idea when we'll see a new version released however, I guess only the developer of Afterburner would know so for now we'll just have to wait and see.
(Or what the new version will add or if it'll be another beta or a final 3.0.0 release but I believe support for this GPU was important.)

EDIT: Found the post about it, this should help clarify things much better than I can.
    http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=4795297#post4795297
(That was after beta 19 was released so at the minimum it would be this current version but with support for that GPU.)

EDIT: If you have it on the auto-updater should also notify when a new version is available.
(Both for this and that statistics server utility.)
