Small bug report. I have F2 key set to start background recording. My desktop is 5760x1200 and if F2 key is pressed while at desktop, EncoderServer.exe process crashes pointing to faulty module amdocl.dll. After that MSI AB closes and RTSS icon is still visible at task tray but can't be removed - it doesn't respond to mouse clicks. Starting MSI AB again doesn't fix it, had to finish RTSS.exe and RTSSHooksLoader64.exe processes from task manager. After that MSI AB and RTSS start working again.

Nvm. Don't think my issue has anything to do with AB but rather with AMD drivers. Sorry

Thinking about buying MSI R9 290X GAMING
but all reviews tell about its power consumption in blu-ray around 80W

So i want to downclock it. But MSI locked core voltage modification to +-100mV

I found somethere a way to bypass it(forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4697356&postcount=143):
    MSIAfterburner.exe /wi4,30,8d,10
This command will add +100mV to core voltage. So by executing it i can add +200mV total.

    But will:
    MSIAfterburner.exe /wi4,30,8d,-10
also work? (doubtful as we are writing directly to memory) Will i be able to undervolt -200mV and more with it? Are negative offsets go to different address? E.g.: /wi4,30,8e,10? Or will /wi4,30,8d,90 (80+ are negatives?) work?

Or maybe afterburner (or future version of it) can somehow already do it?
I really do not want to use different BIOS to undervolt.

I also read that /wi4 no longer works and you should use /wi6. Is that so?

My Razer Mouse and keyboard stopped working in BF4,tried everything and nothing was working. Turned out the thing that fixed it was changing the 64 bit support back to 32 bit and unchecking thoses two boxes. Changing it back to 64 broke it again.

I did a fresh install of MSI afterburner now it works fine. It even works on 64 bit and records again. Something got corrupted when I was recording, or it could be from deleting my videos that I imported into Premier pro as that's the last thing I remember doing before this all happened.

    BTW I'm running 6.0.0

    Hope this helps!

Thanks. I'll verify it a bit later when I have AMD card installed.

    bf4 64 bits problem.

    Hi!.
After a full W8.1 reinstall, i only can see OSD in bf4 on 32bits mode. 3.0 beta 18 is supposed to have 64 bits support, isn't it?
I'm sure that a could capture in bf4 64bits in the old w8.1 installation...

Thanks and sorry for my english.

Last amd drivers on a msi lightning 7970.
    Riva 6.0.0 and afterburner 3.0.0 beta 18.

I noticed the game recording overhead is pretty big in Afterburner when using Quicksync, quite a big fps loss. In dx10/dx11 at least, DX9 on the other side looks competitive to other Quicksync tools.

Did you enable the option "Enable 64-bit applications support service" in the RTSS Options?

Release candidate of RTSS 6.1.0 will be available today. Most likely we'll release it as final 6.1.0 a bit later. Changes list comparing to beta 2 includes the following:

    - Improved compatibility with some third party VFW codecs (e.g. PICVideo M-JPEG codec)
    - Added vector 3D and raster 3D On-Screen Display rendering modes support for DOOM 3 : BFG edition rendering engine
    - Framerate, frametime and per-frame videocapture statistics (frame compression ratio and frame compression time) are no longer
being refreshed in On-Screen Display on each frame. Now refresh interval is set to 500 ms and can be adjusted by power users via
    the profiles if necessary
    - Updated profiles list

What unwinder tries to tell you: MSI AB doesn't support Mantle (yet).
If you want the Overlay and Videorecording you got to use DirectX in BF4

    No mantle.

No mantle enabled, i was talking about 64bits checkboxes in RTSS...i have 13.12 amd drivers with no mantle support.
i'll try tonight deinstalling afterburner and rtss, and installing the new RC.

I have installed the 6.2 RC RTSS and it's working now!!.

Hi, Unwinder, is it possible to add stealth mode for 64 bit applications in RTSS so it can be used with other programs like Radeon Pro and SweetFX, o is it too dificult?
