Minor bug in UWP in the latest AB 4.4.0 b6 / RTSS 7.0.0 b18: if you press the screenshot hotkey in Gears4 benchmark the "CPU (render)" times are suddenly up ~4-5 times even though this key is supposedly not doing anything in UWP (yet).

No idea if the same is happening in other UWP games, didn't check.

 

Why not disable the hotkeys in UWP apps then?

It's a shame about the capture though as it doesn't seem too hard to implement, considering that a straight active window capture works fine for UWP.

 

If i may have suggestion to OSD. Would be possible to add this option? gradient shadow under OSD window (with config option to change values)

and also option to add picture (so for example you could have nvidia or amd logo instead of gradient shadow) (also with config option to change strength of transparency)

 

Why would he get eaten alive? All that needs to happen is for EasyAntiCheat to update their whitelist, which according to their website only supports up to RTSS (Afterburner) 6.5.1. 6.5.1 is the current PUBLIC version. I'd expect them to whitelist 7.0.0 as soon as it's publicly available. No need to get in a huff about it. The only reason Unwinder gets upset is a zillion people come and post the same crap over and over without researching it first.

Each beta contains the changes of the previous version.
(Unless otherwise stated.)

You only need the latest version.
(Afterburner 4.4.0b6 if you're updating that too or just RivaTuner Statistics Server 7.0.0b18)

i dont have the latest afterburner 4.4.0b6 , cant find it for download

but RivaTuner Statistics Server 7.0.0b18 is not working on ghost recon wildlands

and the latest stable was working fine but it does not work on the new win CU update

To try and explain the issue with EAC a bit Unwinder made a change to Rivatuner 7.0.0 as of it's beta 16 release (If I remember correctly.) so it now uses a digital file signature making whitelisting easier both for EAC and for say Battle.eye and probably other software too.
(I didn't check but I'm guessing the non-beta releases of RTSS were signed already, probably helps with other software as well such as AV's.)

However EAC or Easy Anti Cheat to use it's full name will need to be updated first for these whitelist changes and since it stores some files per game and Ghost Recon Wildlands still has not been updated the game is currently not compatible with RTSS 7.0.0 until this is resolved and the EAC component gets this new whitelist info which should happen whenever the next patch comes out.

For Honor was updated a few days ago and might be compatible now but it could still take a while until the next patch for Wildlands is released since they released a bigger update a short while ago.
(I don't have any info on their current plans with the game, probably on the Ubisoft forums if they've announced anything though a smaller hotfix could also happen in-between bigger updates and that could also include the EAC files that are needed.)

EDIT: I'm just making this more complicated trying to do some more complex explanation of it, put shortly for this to work it also needs the game in question or rather the anti-cheat software said game is using to be updated which hasn't happened yet for Wildlands.
(But 6.6.0 should work in the meantime.)


EDIT: That should do it, bit more legible now.

Now with this signature in place well once the software is updated meaning the games in question are patched and have these new whitelist files in them that should hopefully put this entire thing to rest and it won't be a issue any longer.

yes yes 6.6.0 works but give alot of bugs in the windows creators update

crash on alot of games and problems unziping files

yes i did and like i told you i have read all of it

i only asked if it was a problem on ghost recon wildlands EAC and what i said was nothing to do , its pointless , its like wine and water.

Latest beta works perfectly, just one thing if I may... I can't figure out how to disable RTSS for a new Paint 3D app. Any hint ?
