Even the HD4800 series was limited to 850/1200 core via CCC... Anyway, ALL OC's are "unofficial" unless you buy something like an MSI Hawk or MSI Hawk Talon....both of which were designed with the intent of being OC'd further. Even a processor OC is "unofficial".... Regardless of what you read, you still have no clue what the real limitations are of the hardware you buy. Just because 1 person gets 1023mhz core clock, doesn't mean the card you buy will even get 800mhz. It depends heavily on the card components.
