I recently switched from an Nvidia 3060 to a 6800 xt. I never thought that change would cause me an issue in MPHC. I had no issues with the 3060 with MPHC. I can no longer control the brightness/contrast/hue/saturation in the media player itself. Trying to use the adrenaline drivers to do this is near impossible - at least very annoying. The controls to do so are still in MPHC, and the sliders act the same, but nothing changes when applied. Has anyone come across this?
No issue here w/ 22.11.2 and latest mpc-be 1.6.5.3 (or an older mpc-hc 1.9.22 I had at hand). On a RX480 + EVR-CP those in-player controls work. But hey, there's a good chance older polaris/vega use different driver files/features vs navi.
Thanks for the reply. I'm on MPC-HC.1.7.13.x64. It hadn't crossed my mind to try different versions. I'll give it a shot - nothing to lose.
Whatever the issue was, installing the 2.0.0.5 version of the KLite codec pack (replacing my other version of mphc) did the trick. Good thinkin', thank you AlleyViper .
Np, glad you got it sorted. The most current mpc-hc (2.0.0), now under a maintenance branch, can be found on link. 1.7.13 was the final original release, >5 years ago.
MPC-BE? I switched to that one after HC was "abandoned". It has more features (seek preview, etc.), but maybe not the exact ones you want? Got spoiled on this seek preview feature.
