Yep. Same here. Glad I waited for 55 and 55.0.1 to be fixed.
Current nightly icon lol
Fairly large update too. 44MB instead of the usual 5-8MB.
Holy crap, just installed Nightly and it killed all but 3 of my Addons... 2 of which were just BS dark YT / Google things
Set extensions.legacy.enabled to true. Some may still not work.
Yea just found that, speeddial, Google translate, Strict popup blocker and iMEGA won't work still, speeddial is one of the main ones I use too, not good
Full screen button on YT vids not working either, nor is double clicking the video itself, might be because of youtube plus addon?
I think FF 56.x.x will be the last version I update to if these addons aren't updated to conform with Mozilla's new standard
Youtube plus seems to be a WE. Try reinstalling it if it was legacy. I don't use it so I can't say.
I had something called gTranslate which translated in the context menu but I had to replace it with google translator lite.
I don't use speed dial or imega so I can't say anything about those. The former seems to be abandoned? It was updated last in 2015.
for youtube+ you can use the script version in tampermonkey
YT+ is working, I just can't get full screen on YT, might not be YT+ causing it, also have YT Dark addon so could be that, back on stable channel FF now anyway, too much not working with Nightly
I'm really digging this add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/dynamic-zoom/
Its dynamic zoom for webpages. im browsing on a 1920x1200 screen and ive set it to 1600. it auto resizes every page to the best possible view.
also works with latest nightly btw.
Doesn't make any difference for me, all sites look the same no matter what setting I choose?
Hmm that is strange. my zoom level for here is automaticly set at 120% i can see that on the right side of the adress bar.
If i open up the bookmarks sidebar it automaticly resizes to 108%
Maybe my other Zoom addon is stopping it working, I have "Default Full Zoom Level" addon installed too so I can quickly pick a zoom % from the toolbar
EDIT - Yea working since I disabled that other addon, it's resized this forum to 133% though, too big lol
Shame there's no higher resolutions than 1920
Yeah thats probably it. I also used default zoom level in the past, untill they added zoom to the menu which is just as easy.
Edited my post, seems handy if you run a 1080p screen, but not 1440p+
Just seen this on MDL
intresting did you test to see if does what it claims?
Another little update through, v55.0.3
all this updates make me feel kinda sad that cybefox is on ESR for another 6 months or so then development will stop, then again I find Offical 64bit slower and lag compared to CF still
Any good refcontrol alternatives?
uBlock origin no longer working after its update today, anyoen else ?
Shield has gone, yet add-ons states it is still installed and active, yet getting adverts all over the place.
