I love this damn flick. Love it. Billy Friedkin's last really good-to-great film. And for me, the car chase that is the centerpiece of the whole narrative is really still the best, even better than his own work in The French Connection.

I've been smacking through all the Marvel films on Disney+ on my OLED, all in Dolby Vision. Not bad. Some very forgettable films and some quite enjoyable, as long as I switch off the brain completely. In fact, I think it's more down to how good they look on OLED than how good they are.

Star Wars next. Then all the Matrix films, both the Blade Runners, all the Aliens, all the Batmans. All the Indiana Jones...

But most likely, once I'm all done with Marvel, I'll probably watch both versions of I am Legend. I love that film.

Just watched the movie Extraction, a very good movie. I totally recommend it. I watched this after getting my new flushing toilet https://bestflushingtoilet.org/ which I purchased online.

Watched it yesterday as well, not bad at all worth a watch if one's into the shooting hero movie type.

Rewatched [REC] & [REC] ². Forgot how the second movie ended. And the light trick is pretty neat. Don't think I have seen it in another movie. Maybe in a video game.

For fans of Gomorrah, there's a movie made about Ciro called L'Immortale. Unfortunately there seems to be no legal options to view it. But there is a version on the web with English subtitles.
THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN SEASON 3.

Watched 21 Bridges last week and really liked it, woke up this morning and was having my cuppa joe watching the news when news of Chadwick Boseman's passing was announced. Man, saw some recent pics of him when he'd lost some weight and was wondering what it was all about. He'd been diagnosed with colon cancer and was undergoing treatment I believe.

RIP, Mr. Boseman, I'm gonna miss his charisma and talent, Marvel universe just got a little smaller.

Just found out due to your post... shocking to say the least.

As someone who had several relatives with colon/rectal cancer (2 out of 3 died of it), I know what a bitch this form of cancer can be. You basically have no symptoms until it's way too late.

    RIP :(

It was fun, but...it ended on a deus ex to end all deus ex's...with one line of dialogue "Why don't you just use the spoiler alert plot mechanism" "Oh yeah, great idea!"

Having a blast with The Reliant.

    "pro-Second Amendment, faith-based action film"

Featuring Kevin Sorbo and Eric Roberts.

I don't like Ciro tbh. I am gonna watch the movie again :)

It was an odd choice of character to follow considering he is a complete psychopath. I can't really recommend it unless you're a big fan of the show. Just by it's existence it directly undercuts the ending of season 3.
I'm also a bit worried about what the ending means for season 5. It will be the last one.

Also, apparently the Gennaro actor will be in the upcoming season of Fargo.

I never noticed this because i´m portuguese and i always use subtitles to understand everything but in think this is a common trend of Hollywood of style over substance because there´s very little subtstance nowadays in HW movies... The same applies to Nolan´s movies... Even worse, the gaming industry is picking up the bad habbits of Hollywood...

Personally, i think movies and games should stop using background music or use it on very few occasions, it adds very little and worsens the experience.
