Has any of you seen the hobbit battle of the five armies yet? Going on Saturday to watch it. **please no spoilers** even though I read the book.
Gonna go see Battle of the Five Armies tonight, told the wife I was going out tonight with some buds to the bars. So she said "You're going to see the Hobbit aren't you?" I said yes, she paused for a minute and said "nerd."
Got to see Interstellar in 70mm IMAX and it was glorious. Definitely one of the best films I've seen in awhile.
Just borrowed Transformer Age of Extinction DVD from my wife's brother. Very bad movie in almost every aspects. I got bored watching and did not finish the movie. The sound effect is the worst of all. I see things flying around and falling apart but I didn't hear the sound of it.
Went to see The Hobbit 3 just because a friend invited me and as expected... it was yet another disappointment, horribly written, mindless CGI fest. I am huuuuge LotR fan (both books AND movies), watched the bluray EEs alone over 10 times, but the Hobbit "trilogy" was just complete utter commercial crap. At least in comparison to the LotR trilogy, as a generic kids fantasy film I guess it's all right. uke2:
Dumb & Dumber 2 was poor, a few funny bits but not enough, just like Anchorman 2 it was a huge disappointment compared to the original.
Dunno about that, it was pretty freakin funny. Watched The Interview tonight, 8/10, it was so awesome, James Franco has such an great smile. Wish there we're bloopers at the end, i bet they we're so hilarious.
I know it sounds grumpy but comedies just don't make me laugh, they try so hard that it's so stupid and I just dont feel like laughing, much prefer serious films with funny parts. Horrible Bosses 2 is the plan for tomorrow, so expecting the same meh reaction.
