Insidious,Evid Dead, Cabin in the Woods,Drag me to Hell,Sinister.
All good movies.
add to that the possession imo bit better then insidious or sinister but all are good. And Mama mentioned it was pretty nice too. And The Woman In Black was a darn good horror movie, it was interesting to see Daniel Radcliffe do a good work in something else then Harry Potter lol
Enjoyed Savages (directed by Oliver Stone), thought it was pretty good.
Just finished watching 'Ghost Blues,' an extremely interesting film about the late, great Rory Gallagher.
Freely available on YouTube, this is a film well worth watching and it took me right back to the days of John Peel's Top Gear on Saturday afternoons.
Fists of Legend
Sort of the asian Rocky (even plays metal version of eye of the tiger).
I actually liked it. kind of dramatic, but a nice movie all together
also saw this is the end. some things were funny, but most things were really over the top and not funny.
saw a lot of movies lately.
curse of chucky- was quite crap, boring story hardly horror. 3/10
fright night 2 - actually was ok, 7/10
pacific rim - was ok, but i felt it was cut. would be better if it lasted about 3 hours imo 7/10
the heat - super boring , felt like it was written for women. 5/10
the lone ranger - ok movie, the indian guy was funny 7/10
this is the end - funny movie, some things especially at 3/4 of the movie really went over the top and werent funny at all. ok all together though. 6/10
flash point (1997) - excellent movie, great camera work and great fights. imo the game sleeping dogs is based on this. 8/10
That Indian was played by Johnny Depp and I think he did an excellent job. But seriously, I don't get why The Lone Ranger is getting all that hate. It's hardly the flop just about everyone is claims it is and I think it was a hell of a lot better than John Carter.
I thought it was rather darn good. Not sure why everyone would be hating it tbh.
I'm A Cyborg, but that's ok (2006)
8/10 - Very strange film but also quite funny in places, best korean film I've seen in a while, good soundtrack as well
I liked lone ranger much better than most of the crap being pumped out now days.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1538403/
pretty cool movie, its about demons, vampires and werewolves. havent heard about it before. its supposed to be based on the book,
starring the sexy lily collins
if you like a easy movie like buffy the vampire slayer series was this is it.
I'm gonna give Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones like 5/10. Totally based on a book series, I own the City of Bones book myself.
Riddick I shall give 8/10 that was darn good stuff. Some good old Riddick action and some new sides of the guy. Gotta say tho part of the end made me drop it from 9 to 8.
Hentai Kamen I watched also I would totally give it 7/10 hilarious fun.
Other then that I watched Boondock Saints and Boondock Saints: All Saints Day. I would give these movies 8/10 and 6/10 ^^ Entertaining movies and pretty good cast. Connolly just awesome in both imo.
The Adjustment Bureau (2011)
7/10 - Pretty good film, liked the story and how it unfolded, nice to see a film that has a happy ending as well, been a while.
Agreed. I remember liking it a lot when I saw it, especially Emily Blunt and her performance. Really likable characters all round.
I thought it was good as well had some good action, some okay comedic relief thanks to Depp and overall a well constructed plot with good pacing.
A film I watched recently called "Pawn Shop" was rather good and I was pleasantly surprised.
Picked this up yesterday and surprisingly I was not disappointed. This is not your typical rape and revenge flick.
9/10. Anyone thinks the remake will be as good?
Have anyone seem the Purge!?, Gonna watch it today, wanna hear some thoughts
