    Hi,
I moved from SLI 780's to Single 980 ti for now till the new pascal will come.
Sometimes i have weird screen tearing in desktop, steam app and even sometimes in games like DOOM, ROTTR.
With the dual 780's and same conditions i didn't had this type of issues.
Tried to enable V Sync, same. Clean driver install (Used DDU for cleaning) same.
Windows Reinstall, same. Tried different DP Cable, same result.

Using DELL U2715H Windows 10 Pro and latest WHQL Driver from nvidia.

    Faulty GPU?

Weird that you should have tearing in desktop. What Hz is your monitor set at?

    Up to date as well.
ASUS Does not release bios updates for their video cards?

My monitor is set to 60hz but the windows will default to 59hz even when i choose 60hz.
I did some research about it on the web but couldn't find answer or a fix how to do it.

I get the same thing with my Gigabyte 980Ti Xtreme, got it hooked up to a 4k Samsung TV and see weird tearing when scrolling in Steam or something, it's not too noticeable though thankfully.

I guess only if it needed an update

That's likely your problem then, see if you can create a custom rez and refresh rate in NVCP

Install the driver for your monitor if it has one?
