Ive never tried a Razer mouse pad, but I currently have a Func 1030 and im pretty happy with it. I might get one of the newer FUnc pads though, that is a bit larger.

Id recommend checking out Func industries! They have some good gaming accessories.

The Razor mantis' are good, but huge and thick. I use a Eyepad by corepad and find it a nice size and thickness and very smooth.

Not so much overrated as they are "overpriced". Paying $30 or even $35+ USD for a damn mouse pad is rape in my book....

Unfortunately companies know that gamers will pay top dollar for accessories to make their gaming life easier/more successful. So they gouge on prices

People who use razor mice have to buy a mouse mat to get decent performance and don't get me wrong the exactmat is an excellent mat, the best I have ever used and its rock sold (literaly), but for an mx518 you don't even need a mouse mat. Many people i know who do a lot of competitive gaming use that mouse and dont even use a mousemat.

You don't need to spend alot on a mousemat to get decent performance out of a mx518 though if you want to then I would recommend the Exactmat.

I am already in your friends category for a loong time :p .. My table is made of smooth wood surface. The problem is it have too much inertia.I mean if i suddenly move the mouse on the right it will go too much..And is way way to sensitive..A very little shake of hand it Kills my crossbow acurancy..I am getting anoyed :(..

Yeah I also have a wooden table and you're right about the inertia part. For the mousepads, I use cheap cloth ones with my G5 :D

I use a Laser mouse mat, i thought it looked cool at the store it works well, could be a hair bigger tho.
It was only $5.00 well worth it.
