Really? Well it's not any better then MK11 or almost worse at times... Hair detail still sucks, I remember initial MK11 release hair super detailed - each hair strand was separate, but then they toned it down because users said it causes shimmer with TAA..
It will always be like that. You are not really playing coop , it is like one move between combo's to extend combo's.

It is pretty poor :/ though I like that his skin is similar to Van Damme Bloodsport character / Original Johnny Cage from MK. However, I don't really understand why they are doing this just as a skin (I know Midway wanted Van Damme for the original game); as they were able to get Van Damme and his voice why didn't they just use him for JC base design. The story is reset so that would have been a way to explain why he looks different from MKX and MK11.
Even though there seem to be some dodgy choices made with this one ( mostly art direction and having a Sonic moment with Van Damm ) I'm still looking forward to the story. Recently finished MK11 and the DLC and that story was insane, I was WTF is going on a lot of times lol. I thought they did some good stuff with Shang Tsung.
