The reason for the non-dark stages is that the invasion of Outworld has not happened yet. Liu Kang is recruiting them for the first tournament, it seems. There will be plenty of dark stages when the story develops more.
Yea I pre-ordered this on Steam even though I told myself not to pre-order games ever since Cyberpunk 2077. I've been playing MK since the arcade days back in 1992 so I couldn't resist even though the combat mechanics have changed so much and it has become a button masher. I still wanna see the story and all the fatalities.
MK3 was the last one i played a lot. MK2 was also great. no idea.. can't find any interest in those type of games for over 10 years. getting old.
These games are to be played with friends in front of a big tv. Then its fun. This is the only game ever i use controller for.
yeah i know. i played fighting games in the past with friends and MK2\MK3 against my brother when we were young, i remember he smashed the keyboard several times because i owned him by far. we played those games on the same keyboard.. just different side of it. by getting older i meant i prefer throwing my time on other type of games. maybe il play with my daughter when she will be older. in 15 years or so.
This is a great year for the FGC and fighting game players. If SEGA would return with Virtua Fighter 6, I would do a backflip! This is going to be an MK game I can truly enjoy. The stages look marvelous.
