    Hey, quick question.

Around 4-5 days ago when i was playing around in CCC with crossfireX enable/disable i noticed every benchmark crashed when i had it switched off but worked flawlessly when it was enabled. Suddenly from the next day and so i boot the pc, it goes to windows (can hear the sound) but monitor is black showing nothing, while also being unable to switch off the monitor from its base (button stays blue like its still on). I then shut down, unplug the monitor, reboot and everything is normal, screen boots and i can play anything i want without issues for hours (BF3 FTW). Sounds like a monitor problem? Last time i opened it showed some weird red screen then went back to normal.

    Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem where my gpu didn't seem to be getting powered on after a cold boot. I could hear hd activity and such so I knew it was getting into Windows, but without any display.

Are you gpu fans running when this happens? Does your motherboard have an integrated video card you can plug into for a test? Any recent hardware changes?

Although I never fully resolved my own problem, a BIOS update did improve the situation. Now after a cold boot my PC powers on for a few seconds, then powers down then boots up normally.

No hardware changes, fans spin normally, i can hear them spin more due to my afterburner on startup profile. I m gonna try a different monitor for a start then try each card individually or smthng
