The John Madden Football of FPS's rehashes out its 2011 installment. There will be nothing new nor innovative about this release, but if it keeps the 12 year olds out of my BF3 I'm all for it!

Agree, I'm definately getting BF3. But it will be interesting to see if they try to do something different with the Modern Warfare series (loved the first one, not the second).

 

I'll probably only ever play it at friends houses if they get it, but nonetheless I'm still interested in what they do with the franchise. I believe the main aspect that made Call of Duty so interesting was that it was all based on real events. CoD1, CoD UO, and CoD2.

 

It won't be made by Infinity Ward, so it will be different I imagine.

 

Supposedly it is being co-developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer and Raven. So it could bring something different...

 

As much as I really have gone off Black Ops lately (mainly play MW1 still) I shall probably be getting this. I am a sucker for COD, always have been, always will be. That and tons of my friends always get it too.

But that said, BF3 does look insane! They have a lot to live up to. I bet it will be announced, and maybe the smallest teaser ever! Like 10 seconds and I bet it wont even be gameplay, or just stock footage from previous games and then like 5 seconds of flashing, shaky, incoherent gameplay towards the end. I also bet that some nerd will look over the video with a fine tooth comb, and find some hidden message in the video.

That's if there will be a video, maybe just a pre-rendered totally over photoshopped screenie?

 

Aren't they done yet milking call of duty ?.

 

Well unless they can wow me, I'm sticking to BF3 and Arkham City this year.

What I really ask for is ... at least have the game to freaking work? Black Ops is probably the buggiest game I've ever played even after applying the latest patch lol.

Then again that could just be because Treyarch just can't program for sh!t.

Pc indeed. On g2play its cheaper. I bought from directly steam thoug. Preloaded and ready to game.

 

No, it sucks:
- nothing new
- the same scripted gameplay
- f@kin quake 3 engine
- again will be an absurd-story
- it's 8-th call of duty, this is annoying.
