Mobo+GPU+CPU Advice

Hi!

I want to know if this setup will be good for gaming. PSU will be 600W.

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-D3
CPU: FX-6300
GPU: Sapphire HD7770 Ghz Edition 1GB

 

If you playing on medium graphic settings, this should be enough.

 

Will there be no bottleneck or some hick ups on this setup in running latest games. On medium settings of course.

 

Depending on the game and resolution. What resolution you aiming for? As for games, is it demanding games like crysis3 and battlefield3?

 

Get a 970 board and spend a bit more on a gpu like a 7850. What resolution is your monitor ?

 

You already have an AMD FX-6300 and a motherboard based on the AMD 970 chipset. Just buy a FX-8350 and call it a day.

I may be getting you confused with someone else, but didn't you start an identical thread to this a short while back asking the exact same thing? If so, the responses and recommendations from that thread haven't changed! Sorry if that wasn't you, but I feel like it was...

That being said, it would be fine but you need more horsepower in the GPU department. Get at least a Radeon 7850 with 2GB of ram or a Geforce 650Ti Boost and overclock your FX-6300 a bit. You'd be golden.
