I didn't say all plane wreckage floats. I said a surprising percentage of it will. And of course it could have been swept away by currents, but the fact remains that it will show up somewhere eventually.

I know you're angry that your armchair physics knowledge has been challenged, but let's be real here. Airplanes generally don't disintegrate into a fine powder due to mechanical reasons. And by generally, I mean never. Even bombs/missiles leave a mess that should have been detected by now.

If you read it, the engine reports are sent out automatically by every flight using the service, not because there was a problem.

From what analysts say, thos debris are too large for the plane, and that size would sink. Has anyone cjecked the debris yet?

You didn't say it but you was implying it from the way you responded to my post by saying its ridiculous. Im still waiting for you to explain why its ridiculous for wreckage to sink. Like i said maybe your a physicist and you know something that the rest of us do not know.

Physicist or not you lack common sense lol and why would i be angry over somebody on guru3d that i hardly know or want to know lol. 100s of ships and planes have disappeared from the Bermuda triangle all without trace. This is because they sank and many have been found on the seabed broken up in pieces so the point your trying to make is seriously flawed. Some wreckage floats and some don't its as simple as that. It all depends on the laws of physics and weather conditions. Common sense again.

Yeah i read it but who is too say that there was not an engine failure, there may or may not have been. It cannot be ruled out yet.
Yeap i guess we will see.

Well said. Sources such as daily mail/the sun are full of $hit.

As of now, it's still a mystery waiting to be solved.

That said I hope the truth comes out to what has happened and hope for survivors even though the chances are very small.

Very possible but with 80,000 planes taking of and landing all over the world daily, i wonder if this problem should be more frequent....?
I guess there is always time for a first.

I find it Odd that people can find humour in a thing like this. Potentially alot of dead human beings and some folks can make jokes about the situation?

To us its just a lost plane and its intriguing to see what happened. But the passengers are Husbands and wives, Mothers and fathers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters.

I don't see the funny side of it.

Quit trying to argue with me about something I never claimed. I said your post was ridiculous because you claimed that the plane could have exploded into a fine powder without leaving any traces. Maybe you should use some of that common sense you keep talking about instead of straw manning like a tard.

He said some... some of the debris would stay afloat. Which to be fair is a plausible statement...

Or maybe it blew away into a quadrillion pieces, or a giant monster rose up and swallowed it.... alien abduction maybe? Although highly highly unlikely, my point is that's the whole definition of a "mystery", we don't know ANYTHING as to what happened to it.

Hahaha Mr Ice your digging a hole for yourself Sir!

I take it your referring to this post i made, where did i say that the plane could have exploded into a fine powder? Were did i even imply it? If you read what i wrote again and i quote"I reckon it exploded in mid-air, maybe splitting the plane into 3 or 4 parts"

Ive made it bold because common sense again tells me that you cant read:D
I could be nasty here and insult you but i wont as ill be the bigger person and step down for the purpose and derailment of the thread. The proof is in the pudding, i suggest you go back and read all of my posts carefully. I know other readers on here can see where im coming from. Good day to you Sir:thumbup:
