    Interesting read....

"When the aircraft started taxiing down the runway, the control tower tried to make contact, but there was no response, and the tracking transponder was turned off."

Seems planes get nicked in the same way that cars are nicked...."When nobodys looking, just jump in and off you go".

Put these coordinates into Google Maps.

    40.0800° N, 116.5844° E
    40.0800° S, 116.5844° E

    Notice the only change.

So first one is Beijing airport's coordinates, the intended destination. And the other is supposedly in the Indian Ocean near about Australia where the presumed crash may be. So big deal. If the suggested implication is the pilot input an S instead of an N by mistake which took him to the Indian ocean, thats laughable. Any pilot would still know the general area of his plane regardless due to his GPS.

That still doesn't explain why the transponder was off and why there was Radio Silence from the Plane.

Maybe there was some event, and he programmed it almost passed out so did a mistake? Some electrical fault cut the communication.

Still sounds dodgy, plus they are saying that it climbed to 43000 feet now.

    Yep^
an industry expert said the plane spent 23 minutes at up to 45,000 feet – way above its maximum altitude – and rendered everyone unconscious from the lack of oxygen

    That's=13.7 kilometers = 8.5 miles up

Only 2000ft higher and they'd have had the oxygen masks anyway.

Apparently at that height mask will only work for about 12 minutes, if its true they've spend double of that time. But ive heard so many theories now, so dont know which is true which isnt!

Imo if it was hijacked and disappeared then it had to be caring something or someone worth it to hijack.

If it was just wrong coordination and crashed in water, then **** happens - human mistake.

Man this story is so over the place its not funny. I don't think these people have any idea where the plane went, just guessing.

Hundreds of objects seen by satellite, yet no boats have found any?

Just so bored of this whole story now. It's gone. Move on.

It may get boring for you but there were lots of people aboard that plane and their families would certainly find your comment insulting. Please be careful with what you say.
