So no DX12 option in the settings?

    Doesn't seem so.
For a DICE game, the graphics menu is surprisingly lacking in options. As are all the options menus.

This game will be using DX11. If and when DX12 gets added is anyone's guess.

Hmmm, wonder if you can try to force it via the settings files in Documents.

Probably not, but I do hope they plan on adding it before or soon after release.

a quick view of how the game performs on my system, i have screen tearing even with vsync on, i dont know how to fix it, mostly 45-55 fps 1080p all high-ssao-no AA (no option for aa anyway) with the latest 364.72 driver, anyway great game, reminds me of 2008 , this what should have been mirrors edge back then an open world game, now we have it, the voice acting and general cinematics are very good, feels im watching a film, hope the story is good and all will be well.

I'll try it today and see how it fares.
What I played yesterday felt smooth, but I didn't run any overlay on it.

Okay, just tried it out some more. Finished the main opening tutorial mission... and ran about the city some.
All settings maxed... minus Motion Blur. It's turned off of course. :)
According to the overlay, it was holding a solid 60fps.

Looks like the previous title. Which is not an insult or negative. I've always felt the original Mirror's Edge art style and design gave it a look that made it seem so much better then other titles at the time.
Characters, NPCs and enemies... naturally look a lot better then the previous game. Better animations, smoother faces...
In the end, game looks gorgeous.

I could easily see this game being one I definitely pick up come June.

    BUT... few tiny, niggling complaints.
If I do decide to buy it, the full release better have a keyboard menu with fully remappable controls.
For players like myself who never used WSAD, playing this can be... difficult, to the point it almost feels painful to try and force your hands to do something they normally don't do.
I'm hoping this was just an oversight in the Beta (though, a pretty bad one if that).

On top of that... game always starts windowed, no matter what setting I select in game.
Borderless Window or Fullscreen. Every time I start it, it's windowed. As soon as I go to the graphics menu and back out it resets to Fullscreen.

The lack of an in game AA option in the graphics menu is very surprising.
In general the graphics menu is a bit thinner then most DICE games. But, easy enough to force an AA option through alternative means.

Also, the game hangs whenever I exit. Forcing me to force the program to close. I've started just Alt+F4 to close the game, as it works quicker then using the Quit option.

In the end, I'm impressed. I was worried if they could maintain the style and "feel" of Mirror's Edge by switching engines, and after all this time. But, they have.
Some minor worries about the PC version... which hopefully DICE will comment on.

Seems like a recommended 280X or gtx970 was a fake. As you can see 970 is quite a bit faster but 280X beats the 780. I was really hoping for dx12, again with the dx11 overhead and AMD. :/

The chart is definitely not right, im running the game at 1080p all high ssaa 2x in control panel, 45_55 fps. On the gtx 750ti.

Chart is Ultra settings not High. You tried maxing it out and monitoring the framerate?

DICE need to fix the closing bug.
Seen lots of people commenting on it. Exiting the game greets you with a white screen, and the process doesn't close.

Trying to force it closed too quickly, can sometimes follow up with a black screen that doesn't allow you to do anything. Forcing a restart of your PC.

I've been lucky, been able to force it closed through the Task Manager every time. But, the game should exit properly when clicking the Quit option.
