Has anyone played this yet? It's amazing.
Yeah, I bought it to support Notch in his development of it. But at its current stage it doesn't take long to experience all it has to offer. But hopefully it will be finished one day.
Man, I am going to have to try this game. From the looks of it, it looks horribly "boring" but I have heard nothing but good things....
It's pretty damn entertaining, just the scale of things you can make and how much you can explore is astounding.
It does look horribly boring. I said the exact same thing before I started playing.
It will entertain you as long as your imagination keeps thinking of new things.
Been playing for almost 2 months, from 5 mins to a couple hours a day. I enjoy the multiplayer now, can't wait for PvP, bugless and incoming new features.
Definately this game deserves a try.
anybody got a link? all this talk of a boring game has made me incredibly interested
The website looks rather simple atm as the massive gain in popularity crashed minecraft servers :nerd:
You're lucky though, it has free weekend to compensate the problems with the servers, so now it's the time to test it
Got it myself ofc, awesome game and even more awesome with friends
So who plays minecraft here?
My friends and I started a server (hosted on my PC, lag seems fine so far) and we want to play with more people.
If you guys are interested, PM me and I'll send you the info. Just don't burn down our things and break everything !
OR I'll be glad to play on a GURU3D server too, if someone is willing to make one!
check out this video of someone made a computer inside minecraft
This game it's plain fun.
There are communities with amazing cities on their servers.
check the oc gaming server, for example
I'm playing SMP ATM, I started it to learn and then move to MP server; but I'm sucked in the work Im doing right now on a SP map..... So much stuff you can do with your imagination ......
its a great pick up anytime game, I must play it at least an hour everyday on and off as its so easy to drop in, do a little and bugger off again.
We need a guru3d minecraft team for when multiplayer is all sorted. Giant Obsidian Guru3D text anyone atop a giant graphics card
yeah, once I get the hang of it, ill host a MP server,
i've been checking the server and the admin modes there are ......
ill take time since i do not have much time these days, but I am definetly hosting a server
I've seen amazing things on some servers, complete cities and stuff
next thing im doing is a harbour on my coast, lol
someone at a smaller community I visit is hosting this server, I play sometimes, it's got monsters and pvp though, so be careful at night
i made a minecart ride for the house you can see from the spawn, then I read that powered minecarts wont go uphill, shame
Finished my 11x11 block diameter shaft from the top of the mountain to bedrock yesterday.
Bump. Can't believe Guru3D doesn't have more minecraft love. Has anyone else bought it since this thread was made?
Took this screen this morning. http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/ffvb6/buddy_fell_asleep_for_7_hours_while_still_ingame/
I would still love to see a Guru3D server here!
That's if notch doesn't take another 5 month vacation every 2 months
It looks like a cute game for my little nephew to play, should have no problem running on my old laptop.
