lo a bt late to the party but sharing my tweaks for minecraft whiich boost speed massively for old by now FX CPU's (other CPU's may also benefit Howto: paste foillowing to commandline arguments in minecraft launcher -d64 -server -Xmn4G -Xss8G -Xms8G -Xmx8G -XX:+UseLargePages -XX:+AggressiveOpts -XX:+UseFastAccessorMethods -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+UseParNewGC -XXarallelGCThreads=16 -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy Note: auto enoji bit is Parallel not LOL !! Q: why thiese tweaks? A: searched far and wide for good resources on tweaks but found all sources lacking so made my own. Minecraft engine does not fully uitilise possibilities of powerful AMD hardware and is not well opti;imised. Other CPU's may also benefit. Q: waiit wut 16 threads on 8/8 core> what does this fix?! A:: juddery animation on all npc's -> adjust to your CPU where necessary test and see but double seems to work for FX CPU's! Q: what do these tweaks achieve A: guaranteed no stuttter, no lag, no crashesm solid 60fps with vsync on all setting maxxed FX8350 +16gb and 7970 ghz ( RX580 Nitro+ also works fine runs even faster now) Hope this helped some people Feel free to post other tweaks here for minecraft
Think your onto something here. This seems to help in FTB launcher on Direwolf20 mod. So far, either no or way less lag freezes for me. Only bad thing, this eats a LOT of ram. But so far it's working. BTW, i'm on a Intel OC-2600k, 16gb RAM, nvidia 1050ti, win10 v1703 x64
