Microsoft unveiled a new wireless desktop combo that focuses on comfort for those who use their PCs for long stretches. The Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 bundles the Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000... More...
Looks uncomfortable for me. Never liked these keyboards from MS with that 'ergonomic' layout plus I'm a leftie.
I tried using ergonomic keyboards, but i still type fastest on a standard keyboard layout. IBM Model-M forevah!
They are only useful if you can touch type... which most people can't and so they don't put their hands in the right position. Also, wasd at an angle is annoying for gaming.
um , but only 21 minutes prior to your abouve post you say "Looks uncomfortable for me. Never liked these keyboards from MS with that 'ergonomic' layout plus I'm a leftie." Now you have it... ok..
lol... *BULLSH!T ALARM* WEEEEWOOOOWEEEEEWOOOOO J/k G15 for life! (or until they bring out a G17 or something that has a colour LCD and multi-colour keys and is wireless )
i use an ergo keyboard at work, i'm a leftie, and i can't touch type. it is so much more comfortaable than a regular keyboard. it does take a bit of getting used to though.
I'm wide awake , had my coffee :approval: IDB Model-M? perhaps Im still asleep as I cant see that above
I have that Ergo 4000 KB, I'm using it atm I do not use my gaming PC for surfing and reading forums, irc or stuff like that I like this.
For prolonged typing (which I sometimes do), these slanted, anti RSI Keyboards are pretty useful. However, with practice, you can learn to type with your hands at an angle with proper keyboards too. The MS keyboard and mouse both look very nice, although as a gamer I tend to distrust anything wireless.
:approval: My remark about being left handed wasn't directed about using the keyboard but the egonomic mouse. For the keyboard it shouldn't make a difference.
