Anyone had problems after updating? I'm reading different forums and some are having issues with the update. Perhaps safer to wait a bit.

Microsoft must have been pulled those words from some kind of parallel universe where everyone lives happy lives using Win11:D Not sure if any future Windows will beat popularity of Win7 on the undisputed 1st place, when we consider how many years it was used (and still is here and there) of course, WinXP probably on the second place. Haven't checked but I'm sure atm Win10 is still way way more popular than Win11.

The Steam survey shows that you are correct with a 30% difference overall from 10 to 11.

How would you even measure which version is the most loved? If there was an opinion poll where you needed to vote a single Windows version out of them all, I'd be utterly astonished if Win11 was the winner. Maybe if you picked the voters from a kindergarten and they had never used any other version.

Objectively speaking Windows XP ought to be a pretty strong contender. It achieved a few tremendous things:
    • It united the two totally separated pro and home lines.
    • It brought broad multimedia capabilities and simpler user interface/configuration to the pro line.
    • It brought the NT stability and security to the home line, which previously was an exceedingly dodgy thing.
    • It brought Windows to the new century in looks and feels.

Someone might point out I'm ignoring Win 2000 here, which is true. I quite liked it, but that's because it was so nice after NT. It was still just a prototype for XP, a tech demo. Nevertheless, even though XP achieved a whole lot, it doesn't mean it would have been perfect. Perhaps Win7 was where the road from 2000 and XP led. I was quite excited to upgrade from XP to Win7. I wasn't thrilled at all to move from 7 to 10, but I felt like I needed to do it for the sake of remaining on top of things and enjoying continuing support, including new features.

At the end of the day, new Windows versions will automatically gain users when folks buy new computers. They tend to come with the latest version. If you build your own PC, you have more options, but realistically not for too long. Very few people would try to install Win7 anymore on a brand new PC with new gen components.

I just use StartAllBack which solves all taskbar and right click menu annoyances. I forgot what default Win11 taskbar even looks like at this point. Other than that, been using Win11 for almost a year, not a single issue.

Nothing to unleash upon me, with TPM disabled in the Bios.

Hopefully Windows 12 will be a worthy upgrade to 10.

Probably will be a relabeled Win 11 feature update like 11 was for 10.

Sorry but no. Completely wrong. Win 10 is still the most used version of Windows ever.

There's one update that won't update in Windows Update, otherwise, W11 22H2 seems fine.
