NordVPN still doesn't work properly with their tunnel driver and you have enable/disable TCP/IP in the setting to get it to work but you can like 10% of the speed. So Win 11 is a no go for me until this is fixed either by Nord or MS.

I was also about to recommend UUP dump, being using it to create Windows 11 ISOs

two of my older harddrives died just a couple of days after one of the bigger dev updates of the windows 11. One died and was not recognized by windows any more, the other one was readable from windows, but if you started to read or write bigger files to it, the speed went down to 10kbit. Both old drives, but this happening just a couple of days after the dev update of windows 11. And two drives giving up almost simultaneously. Maybe windows 11 had something to do with it!?!?!?! Mabye not.

I like the new GUI. Running a dark theme on it. Looks nice. Just a couple of annoying icons and options that i like better in windows 10, for the right click meny.

UUP dump is great. I've been creating iso's using that site for a long time.

Enabling TPM has zero effect on performance.....lol
I actually benchmarked TPM enabled/disabled on my i5 6600K several years ago.

Then you have a hardware defect, the tpm is just exposing it.

If you don't want to enable TPM, that is your decision. However, enabling TPM has zero effect on performance. If you're having issues with TPM enabled, you have a hardware fault, as Astyanax stated. Even my Athlon 5350 showed no performance penalty with TPM enabled, and that was my media center pc for a couple years.....

Have you ever enabled "Core Isolation"??

    Interesting development...

Microsoft won’t stop you installing Windows 11 on older PCs

Microsoft is announcing today that it won’t block people from installing Windows 11 on most older PCs. While the software maker has recommended hardware requirements for Windows 11 — which it’s largely sticking to — a restriction to install the OS will only be enforced when you try to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 through Windows Update. This means anyone with a PC with an older CPU that doesn’t officially pass the upgrade test can still go ahead and download an ISO file of Windows 11 and install the OS manually...

p.s. if true, this confirms one thing... it wasnt about ensuring more secure systems, it was about making money. No revenue from 10 to 11 upgrades, but from new licenses they will take your money even if on older, insecure HW.
