It would be nice to have Xbox exclusives on the PC. But not via windows store, then I'd still rather not touch them.

Nice feature! I wonder how many systems will halt cause of it and how many windows updates will it take to resolve it.

I'd say I don't really need it for my office PC, but M$ will find a way to push it in!

edit: can we have Windows 10 gaming edition or something.

This makes absolutely no sense... At the moment you can stream any xbox one game to your pc anyway. But if you are going to run native xbox games on your pc through an emulator then it means you will need a more powerful pc to run the game and also you will need a controller attached to your pc. That will take away the whole purpose of a console (cheap and user friendly)... I don’t see the point where Microsoft is goint with this...

While I wouldn't mind having access to some Xbone games, if they use the W10 store and it's horrible emulation, then I'll pass.

Wasn't this supposed to be a thing a long long time ago too?

Got vague memories of them mentioning this before but nothing ever happened

As long as it is outside of "Store"...
It is one of things I get rid of. And then there is pricing. Those things may be new to PC, but they are already old. Therefore I would be willing to buy games like Gears of War, but not at some crazy price.

Clever move by Microsoft. Why get developers to make PC games anymore when they can just code once for xBox and run on both.

PC gamers however would end up with the inferior xBox versions rather than PC optimised versions we are used to.

Well when you look at the pc section here alone and see all the issues that some are having with the pc windows 10 versions of MS xbox ports, maybe playing the actual console coded version that runs perfectly fine on the console is the way to go, if it offers a more stable gaming experience then why not........of course assuming this rumour turns out to be true it will no doubt only be for MS first party games, don't expect to be firing up the xbox version of RDR2 on your pc as i doubt third devs would be too happy with that. Lol

Why not? How about lack of customisable controls, no FOV options, no ultra-widescreen, no newer features like raytracing etc (yeah I know but), no graphics options for higher or lower end cards, lack of optimisation, no higher end graphics textures, likely locked down DRM to UWP.

And i'm sure i'm missing plenty.

I can still remember how my xbox played Bungie
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those noobies dance
And maybe I'd download their D-L-C

    But February made me shiver
    With the news xbox delivered
    Bad news on forums
And I was never for them

    I can't remember if I cried
When I read about 'new xbox live'
But something touched me deep inside
    The day, the xbox died.

If this just means putting xbox one disc into pc and it plays like an xbox that would be cool.

I like the idea if a full game list of game pass arrives at pc, not a shorten list as it is now

I picked up Gears of War 4 recently and I was pleased to see it ran flawlessly on my SLI machine. Everything worked as I expected with afterburner, solid frame rate, etc. If this is the new norm, I'd rather just have the native PC versions.

But that assumes they have exclusive games I want to play. So far, that's been the biggest roadblock.
