Wow, I predict lots of mid-air collisions.

If this Wuhan-virus keeps it up, there will be little to no air traffic. You would be safe to do loops with a Boeing all you want :)

This game is actually turning into a virtual reality version of the world. Amazing the scope they have programmed into it.

Nothing new for the Flight Simulator franchise...FS2004 already had live weather, actual live traffic and AI traffic expansions based on scheduled data from MS/3rd parties 15 years ago. What would be new is if it all actually WORKED like it should *ahem*...And I still wonder if the final product will directly reflect the awful, decrepit state of Bing Maps for most of the planet.

I predict 0 colisions since MS FS never had any damage or collision model.

From the looks of the various clips seen in YouTube FS2020 looks to be a bit of a game changer, particularly in terms of its graphics. Will be looking forward to checking out the finished product.

I don't know what's going on with drive space required for games nowadays. 150GB? Seems to me all games are going the way of BLOAT WARE.
Well are they? (SHOUT) Are the latest games the new Bloat Ware! :) (SHOUT)
"Just gotta load 32GB of textures. Wait one moment please".

FS20 is actually going to be a good game. I have enjoyed the alpa/beta so far. It looks better than prepar3d v5 vanilla. I really need a 4k monitor to get the full effect.

This game is great and I can agree with the demands graphically. In the Alpha now and it is just simply amazing what you can achieve fidelity wise. My 5700 XT doesn't stand a chance at 3440x1440 and barely does it at 1080 with ultra settings. Although in my 3900X setup with said 5700 XT I only have a placeholder of 16GB 3800MHZ. so that could also be a culprit. Have to keep telling myself this is an Alpha still and is also going to be one of the most demanding games to come out in a long time.

I mean this game is so BA looking......just wow.

2080Ti FTW3 HC on the other hand is capable, but doesn't hit the 60fps as of right now in the Alpha. CPU cores are must in this game as well. This is on my 3960X with 128GB 3600.

Let me explain it using another shout: DOWNGRADED GRAPHICS FROM THE E3 TRAILER! Repeat endlessly.
Seems to me either folks complain games are too big or folks complain they downgraded the graphics. Ya kinda have to go with reality. Higher realism and fidelity requires more space to replicate. Conclusion? Folks complain.

Over hype is just as bad as trashing. Google Earth's resolution and detail far higher and are not rendered artifacts but real objects.

MS is going to run this on a next gen console with 4k. So I think ut will still be optimized some more unless the next gen console is a beast.

for those that are in the alpha, how is it working for the cached scenery? can you set some specific space for it?

I wonder if 11GB of VRAM will be enough to run 4K with Ultra Textures on PC.

We are in 2020, we are expecting photorealistic games, to get to another level, even if graphics are good, but its kind of boring, we need change.
