In a somewhat unusual technical/promotional blog entry called "Raising the Bar with Direct3D", Microsoft has released some additional details on the version of Direct3D for Xbox One, alon... Microsoft Details Direct3D 11 Improvements
Want to see benchmarks showing the differences between 11 and 11.2 Still think that it's mostly the consoles that are gonna take advantage of the improvements.PC RAM is only going to slow down a standalone GPU. But maybe the other things will be beneficial. Time will tell. Either way I hope that steam will push hard on the devs to support linux and then we can all forget DirectX and Win 8.x and once again enjoy the superior OpenGL.
You telling me my Windows phone is going to run faster? Woohoo! (just kidding, nobody has a f***ing windows phone)
Theres nothing wrong with win 8... i dont even miss start button. Shortcuts to desktop and works like a charm....
I have a windows phone and prefer it leaps and bounds over any bloated android phone which 99% of all the apps would never use.
QFT Smooth and seamless with far less overhead and bloatware. And 99% of the apps I did use on Android are on WP8 (or have a decent alternative). I used a friend's ATIV S when my S3 was being repaired and subsequently sold my S3 and bought an ATIV S. I'm very happy with it. It's become very 'du jour' to hate on MS, most of the complaints I've seen regarding Win 8 are born from total ignorance.
"Improved performance and efficiency on mobile form factors" So Windows Phone will get even faster? Hell yeah.
I'll let Bill Gates know as I have him as a tiled shortcut on my start screen. Joking aside I'll let the other 10% of the UK know that too..
