    Microsoft releases Windows 8.1 patch to fix mouse lag while gaming

    From Neowin:

    The Microsoft Support website has launched a page with download links for the update that cover the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 8.1, along with a download for Windows Server 2012 R2. Microsoft's support site says the patch fixes the problem for the following list of games:

    Call of Duty: Black Ops
    Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer
    Call of Duty: Black Ops II
    Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Multiplayer
    Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Zombies
    Call of Duty: Ghosts - Multiplayer
    Call of Duty: MW2
    Call of Duty: MW2 - Multiplayer
    Call of Duty: MW3
    Call of Duty: MW3 - Multiplayer
    Call of Duty: MW
    Call of Duty: MW - Multiplayer

    Good, but I'm a bit weary now and I will wait a few reports until I re-upgrade to Win 8.1 :p

    Seems to have helped for me. Before I couldn't even aim.

    Yeah but it was only select few brands of mice. Razer, Logitech and Gigabyte were fine atleast :eek:
