MGS: The Phantom Pain ,AMD users can expect crossfire problems

MGS: Ground Zero refused to work in crossfire and since PP uses the same engine Im sure we are going to be confronted with the same issue twice. Lets not forget this is nvidia optimized game. We should storm steam forum and request a proper crossfire be implemented.

Ground Zeroes was working with CFX, as far as I know. Maybe someone with a CFX system can give us more information?

You´re right, before I uninstalled the last time had a working crossfire profile, that means that the Phantom Pain should be working ok with crossfire enabled.... or not?

Ground Zeroes is broken on Win10 since driver versions 15.7, refuses to load, had to use alternative previous drivers placed in the game directory.

I hope this wont be the same for for Phantom Pain.

I played Ground Zeroes for three hours yesterday, under Windows 10. It works fine. I am using this driver.

Oh that's good then, it was fairly annoying to have the performance dips with the previous driver version that I had to use, it was fine with 15.7 on Win7 though. just not Win10

Definitely looking forward to Phantom Pain, I've got the disc version pre-ordered, I have **** internet which takes 1 hour to download 1 gigabyte, do not want to wait a minimum of 26 hours to download the game which would be roughly 3 nights leaving my pc on if I were to download overnight instead (26gb divided by 8 hours per night = 3 nights).

I don't know what you're talking about ,crossfire scaling was garbage in 15.7 afaik. Gpu utilization hovered 50~60% and that in my book makes it uncool and far from enjoyable experience and that is why I fear PP will turn out the same way.

RadeonPro and frame limiter synched with vsync? Have you tried that? I get a constant minimum 50 fps with absolutely everything on Ultra (except shadows at High) at 1080p.

I squeezed every bit out of my gpu that was possible but only when I was playing with a single GPU. Multi gpu was garbage with scaling sometimes going negative.

You might as well wait for both 16/14nm chips, I know that's what I'm doing. I'm planning to go from the first 28nm to the best 16/14nm :p

That's my plan too. I want to be wowed. Don't get me wrong, 980ti and FuryX are nice cards but I want something brand spanking new. These old dogs are still kicking a** for the time being anyways.

Of course single card performance is also interesting, but as a CrossFire user i need to know if the game has proper CrossFire support. ;)
