    You didn't state what settings you used.

    Was it;
    MFAA
    x2 MSAA with MFAA
    x4 MSAA with MFAA

    ???

    I tried 2x MSAA+MFAA in BF4 profile.
    to me it seems like free , performance wise , I don't notice any hit .
    I run with a fps limit cap so that might be why

    x2 MSAA with MFAA

    I'm not sure x4 with MFAA even works.

    So to use MFAA on it's own, you enable it in 3D Settings and disable AA in game?

    Ah right thanks, so whatever MSAA you choose, MFAA is a multiple of it

    2xMSAA = 4xMFAA

    To enable MFAA you have to turn it on in the driver control panel. Then, in your game you set the MSAA level and MFAA is a multiple of it. For example, if you set 2X MSAA in your game, the output is 4X MFAA. If you set 4X MSAA in your game the output is 8X MFAA. That means the game will be running at the performance cost of what you set it in-game, but will actually output a higher AA quality thanks to MFAA.

    yes, from my understanding, it still only supported on handful of games .
    Only one i have is BF4 and FC3.
    O only tried it in BF4 .

    PS: I just tried 120% down-sampling and think that is better than 2x MFAA but it is more hit .
