Agreed. Love the atmosphere, it sucked me in and gave a vivid picture of the living hell that the metro has become.

The game has also sucked me in quite deeply! its been a while since i've been so amazed... The game made a total change point when you walk through the metro with that other dude, who shows you some 1337 stuff...

The game is amazing. It makes me feel chilly sometimes because I grew up in Moscow and was using subway everyday. I was on on most stations mentioned in the game.
On the link below look at the pictures of the station how they look now before all this crap happened in the game.

I had bought this game last year but seeing how tough it was to run, I set it aside for a GPU upgrade to take better advantage of the graphics. Finally I can play it maxed out (just with no AA). Am really impressed with it. The amount of detail the developers put into the subways is incredible. The lighting, sound effects, overall atmosphere really add to an involving experience. Combat and gunfights, like the Stalker games is amongst the best in FPS games. One thing I hate though (in any game really) are hordes of monsters rushing you but I gladly put up with that for the high points of the rest of the game. Am looking forward to Metro Last Light or any game from these talented Russian developers.

well, i am trying to get it to play, but i get a green flickering whenever i try to load it, any thoughts?

and the same thing in startcraft 2, so i'm guessing SLI doesn't want to work. at least i can play starcraft on with one 580.

But still open to ideas to fix the sli, thanks.

Fixed It, moved the SLI connector to the other prong, and changed the phyx to the cpu. don't know which one helped, but either way:rock:

I just finish this game after getting it on sale for 5 bucks. I have to say was alot of fun and the graphics were not bad either. I can see why they still use it for benchmarking.
