Maybe YOU lot will help me, noone else seems to care...

    Yes, the file is an exe. Just doubleclick the file, once downloaded, it it will extract the following files:

    965pdq6.f5 (this is the BIOS file)
    autoexec.bat
    FLASH895.exe

    Before you flash the new BIOS, set everything to DEFAULT. NO overclocked settings. All you need is the BIOS file 965pqd6.f5. Copy this file to a floppy. With the floppy in the drive, reboot your computer and hit the DEL key to get into the BIOS. Once in the BIOS, hit the F8 key to enter Dual BIOS/Q-Flash. Scroll down to Load Main BIOS from Floppy and hit return. Just follow the instructions. When done, reboot and load Optimized settings in the BIOS and exit/save.

    EDIT: Also, if i clear CMOS will the bios version go back to the original one?

    no , its just puts all the current settings back to what they origionally where , it doesnt effect the bios version
