oh man...i thought for sure this was the mother load and was goin to show the GTX 285 2 Gb cards. While this review is still freakin cool and its amazing to see the power of these cards....id still love to see the 2gb versions put through their paces...

why? your gpu performance isnt even remotly close to a trisli 285 setup :) so it wont realy matter to you anyways.

    I will be conducting a simular test between a C2D and a i7 920 with a single 260, 2-way and 3-way SLi 260's.

Yes...I know it sounds wierd but PSU requirements are typically overstated. Plus, I read several reviews of my PSU where they fond out that the peak power was closer to 1000 W, and cooler master could have easily labelled it as 1KW instead of 850 W...not to mention the 100 + Amps on the 12v rail. It is one solid PSU...

I had the choice to go i7 and pretty soon I was gonna SLI a couple GTX cards. I game at 19x12 where the CPU is even more important.

Thanks for sharing with us mighty! It is nice to see that SLI and TRI SLI have at least decent support in every modern game.

I concur, Crysis demo and Crysis 1.21 have completly different performance. SLI works better for starters on the new patched version than the demo ever did. Still other than that it was a pretty good review, nice stuff.

The games that I dont own, I tested with Demos. I didnt want to buy a game just for the review :) But yea, whenever possible, I try to used the actual game instead of the demo since performance can vary quite a bit.

    It is real power pro.

Hey fair enough, and well done with even bothering to go through so many games, must have taken you an age to run all those benches. Keep up the effort!

Yea...it takes me a while to get my articles done. The SLI scaling article took several weekends of raw data collecting, followed by analyzing, creating images, and finally coding it for the site. Also, before I built this site, I knew zippo about web development...hehe. I am learning on the go...hoping to build this site further.
