whilst that's true, it has not replaced it yet, I have Origin running fine on my PC and Steam Deck with no issues, playing any EA games through it (Dead Space / Mass effect / dragon age) on both platforms.
Was using Origin just fine the other day to play a game.
I mean, it's EA... do you honestly believe they are competent enough to make everything work correctly on a new launcher?
Or have a smooth transition to it for that matter.
Like I said: deprecated
Origin still logs in and works, and you don't have to use EA Desktop for Andromeda, your statement was incorrect.
Just because you don't know the meaning of the word deprecated, doesn't mean you are right.
So I'll quote you a few more dictionaries.
sorry, it seems you have a comprehension issue and in failing it try to strawman and fail at directing an argument back to a single word in your statement.
What I said is that origin is deprecated, which is 100% correct.
No my fault you don't understand English.
Hardly a topic worth arguing about.
One thing I am wondering, I have 3 games installed on Origin, does installing the EA program make those games appear in the EA program or do they need to be redownloaded?
Or does it check for already installed Origin games?
it will aquire the installed games from the origin appdata, though presently you are still required to install both for any steam games that use the origin bridge.
