Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Well I love this game

 

I bought this on sale and tried giving it a go. Just feels too generic to me. Typical 3rd person shootem up. I will admit I wasn't in a gaming mood when I tried it, so I'll go back when I have an interest. But eh.

Maybe now Square-Enix will put Eidos-Montréal doing what they do best.

 

I assume the poor sales have less to do with this game and more regarding the Avengers and how poor that was.

If anybody has similar specs, how is the game running.
It will be my first 3rd Person game since KoToR as they arnt really my thing but this looks very good.

I've just started to play this game and it performing subpar. I'm on W11 and ssd with rx6600xt 32GBram 5600x. @1080p ultra no ray tracing. I switched to W11, 2 weeks ago, and I wonder if its a Wll thing. I re installed the game and got a performance boost. I think today I will switch from ssd to spinner and see if that helps.
Its jittery and for no reason the gpu seems to enter bouts of heavy lifting with the frame drops. Its tapped (crazy).
It was steam shader cache from the previous W10 set up. Cleaned it out and all well with my game world.

 

Without RT probably above 60fps

 

I am really struggling with this game.
The Game play is moronic.
Its like they took all the bad game play features from tomb raider 1 to current day and put them in this game.
Such a shame as clearly a lot of work has been done here.

 

Thats a shame, was seriously looking at getting this but ive just picked up the Redux versions of the first two metro games so will be a while before i even consider it.

Took me a while to get into 2033 Redux as was constantly comparing it to Metro

The game in essence is pretty time specific with its music and pin up models. That is Sam Fox and she likes girls but was a proper man magnet in her day.
