@ManuelG What the hell are you guys thinking with these prices?

Ive been a long term nvidia buyer. Ive owned cards from the TNT2 days right up to my 3080.

I'm 100% not buying these cards due to this price gouging.

We all need to organise a boycott to be honest, corporate greed is getting out of hand.

probably he will say lies like new cards cost so much in production, don´t have ram chips, and he using magic dwarves to forge the blessed gpus

 

You should have gotten one of those super cheap Ampere cards, you lousy bums.
Survive toughest winter since WW2 or buy Lovelace card, hard choice...

 

They are probably in for a cold shower once they hit the market:
Miners stopped buying
EU is on the verge of recession
Used RTX 3000 GPUs are readily available on the used market with miners dumping GPUs

I feel like Nvidia is completely out of touch with the gaming market.
I too would like to give something back to the company (I won my 2080 Ti from an Nvidia sponsored event, super grateful for it) but I am not going to pay 1.109 € for a 4070 disguised as a 4080.
Used RTX 3080s at 550-650€ look more appealing to me at the moment but I am holding out a little longer to see how things pan out after AMD releases their GPUs.

 

The used price for the 3080's is also gonna drop dramatically over the coming time, with all the mining gpu's flooding the used market.

 

A few years ago, I would have never imagined that NVidia would try to rip-off gamers this badly.
Seriously, wtf is going on at nvidia? Do you guys think we are miners?

I don't think that asking a driver s/w engineer about product pricing is such an excellent idea.

Also what's wrong with the prices?

 

Oh, how about the fact that they are charging 1100 euro for a freaking midrange chip with a 192 bit bus?

 

in the eyes of 99% of gamers, the 4080 16gb is far from mid-range.
only the i'll take it whatever it is crowd think like that.

 

sadly reguardless of prices they gona sell even if there not making there profit margin they can just raise price again till it does cause people will still buy it, personally i wont pay more then $350 give or take for xx60 series, so might be while before i get new card

 

People won't buy it, they'll buy the 3090s and 12g 3080s, least us on 1440p and below.
You want 4k, get a one thousand pound gpu, 3080 /3090 is fine for me. (i don't even use aa in-games. and run at 60hz.

progress,there is no progress.you're getting least gen performance/price with cutting edge technology of ada cards,all because of ridiculous pricing.it's just a waste of really great technology imo if few gamers will buy it because of jensen's business practices.
I'm just concerned to what extent these prices are dictated by what they know about rdna3.I hope it's not related and it's just JHH going totally whacko.
