Is there any way to downscale textures a little? I am running into a vram bottleneck and I get some micro-stuttering with my 2x6870. Frame rate is still high but it feels choppy at 1080p.

I saw the game uses up to 7GB or ram (game + windows).

    Tried r_multigpu = 1 as well.

Great work by the way. Very impressive.

I can only suggest disabling crytek's texture pack and reducing any aa settings, after that it's resolution only. Reducing other quality settings may help with fps but not really texture usage.

    Thanks BlackZero,

    Things I've noticed:

    - FXAA seem to work only at low for me.
    - sys_spec_texture = 1 doesn't affect much the quality but seem to help the performance quite a bit.
    - Capping the fps seem to create stuttering for multi-GPU users
    - Adding -mod MaLDoHDv3 in launch options for steam users allows to launch game with mod already loaded.

Great job MaLDo. Everything is working perfectly. I just wish I could use one of my previous profiles because he was buffed out to the max. I hate having to start from scratch. Once again, kick-ass job sir.

Are you talking about Nano Suit upgrades?
I started a new game and all my upgrades were in place.
Just had to wait until they were "activated" in the games "sequence".

Running this mod maxed out (but DOF disabled), getting 50-60 fps. Looks fantastic. AA is not perfect and a little shimmery but the game looks miles better than Crysis after heavy tweaking.

Only problems are plastic-looking car textures when I get within a few meters of one and flickering smoke effects. Not sure if they're Crysis or MaLDo bugs.

^ delete autoexec.cfg from your crysis 2 folder and re-ru the maldohd 3.0 config utility.

Nope, can start a campaign no problem which I do from the MalDo campaign files but can't resume a campaign without Crysis 2 crashing out on me..

Try starting a normal campaign with MalDo mod option in startup of Crysis 2 steam options and see if I can resume it that way.

Holy crap Maldo, the more I play your modded version, the more impressed I get. I've actually gotten killed because I was too busy gawking at the textures and overall graphical beauty of this game due to your mod. Outstanding job!!!

Having trouble installing the mod, after clicking installer:

''crysis 2 installation path cant be found into registry''

''please select your crysis path manually''

The installer will not show me the exe in bin32, any ideas?

    thankyou

How does it run? Does it kill fps?

Would you happen to have a before and after screenshot?

I hear it runs better than the default textures. Like 10%.

So...looks better, runs better. GG Crytek.

I saw the wireframe shots of the invisible water that covers the entire maps that chews up performance...would disabling water tessellation give a significant performance boost in DX11 maxed or is there another performance related setting that I can use ( with little to no visual loss ).

    I saw that message too.
As I recall I just pointed it here:

I think it runs better after installing this mod. I haven't had any hitching or stuttering whatsoever and I'm playing with everything maxed out except for water tessellation turned off. And sorry, I don't have any screenshots. But believe me, it looks incredible.
