The reference card is quadro fx 580.

I am upgrading from Radeon x1950 pro to one of the following quadro cards: fx 380 or fx 570. I need you to classify them by "power" (how well will they perform in 3ds Max and Adobe cs5). Also how much improvement can I expect from each if I buy it? And of course how much more powerful is the 580 if compared to the other two?

Another thing, the link ( http://www.ipspty.com.au/files/pny.pdf ) shows that the 570 is much more powerful, although it's memory flow is almost two times slower, that I can not understand, so i'm asking someone to explain it to me.

Sorry for my bat english, not my mother tongue.

I dont know.. but woud nvidia 6800ultra be faster when softmodded to quadro FX4000 ?

Atleast it has superior memory speed..

Just an idea for u and others.

Atleast for gaming, my old 6800nu 128MB (unlocked 16/6) was ALOT faster than newer 8600GT 256MB

    6800 128MB DDR 16pixel/6vertex shader
    8600GT 256MB DDR3 32 unified shaders

Yeah, it would probably be better, but all newer nVidia cards can't be softmoded so I decided to go for a real quadro.
