Following some links I came up with this site:

    http://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/cpu_keychain_guide.php

Thank god I had that burnt K6-2!!!

I already made one with this CPU... next birthday party I'm gonna go with this necklace... man I will be the center of the party!!!

I have a Pentium 1... hey its functional.. and I dont wanna kill it.... snif. .. But hey I have one!!!

Also.. Read in that page's forum that if you email or send a mail to AMD... they will give you some defective CPU's!!!! Intel said NO to that...

    Enjoy!!!

was thinking the exact same thing X-D

it wouldbe more bling if it would have been gold-sprayed and hung around your neck. Then you can even impress the homies at the hood ;P

I saw that a long while back and planned to do it, but totally forgot. Also, I had loaned my old Dremel to a friend and he kinda moved out of state with it (yeah, oh well).

It was a lower end model anyway, no biggie I guess, but that meant no rotary tool for Recrofne :(.

However, I have since then gotten another one! All I need is a diamond drill bit and I'm good to go!!

    Behold, my pretties!

haha - I know someone that did that - went to tafe wearing it.

It was an old T-bird chip i think.

The dude that did it was this old bloke i know - He turned on his machine without securing the heatsink, just to see if the fan worked. Unfortunately the K6/2 was about the last chip u could do that on. This poor AMD didnt last a second!

    I couldn't do that. I can't bear damaging a processor unless it's really dead.

Oh well that k6-2 decided to break in a thousand of ceramic pieces...

then I couldnt resist de-pinning that pentium 1... (I hated that moment... I wanted an AMD!!!) but... now i have a nice necklace... and Im using the heatspreader of the k6-2 as a keychain.

    BTW that de-pinned pentium 1 looks like a mini lga775 P4.
