The inclusion of the EGS logo at the bottom will no doubt will be jarring to some people. Loved Mafia 1, Mafia 2 was also very cool. Hoping they address the many technical and jarring gameplay issues that Mafia 3 has. Mafia 1 is definitely the one i'm most looking forward to though.
Mafia 1 and 2 are incredible games made by the fantastic studio Illusion Softworks who made some of my all time favourite games including Vietcong and Hidden and Dangerous, and then there's Mafia 3.
Now that you mentioned it, I checked to see for myself, and thankfully there's also the Steam logo on the right side of the bunch. Let's hope it will stay that way...
Mafia 2 Definitive Edition could come on 19th May already, regarding MS Store, but deleted already. https://www.ign.com/articles/mafia-1-mafia-2-definitive-edition-release-date-screenshots And i think Mafia 1 is looking a lot better than 2..Well, 2 is only a remaster..
was never able to enjoy the Mafia games. never finished em. maybe il give it another go when those remasters\remakes are available. i know the games are good.. just can't point out why i actually never got hooked to the series.
I have a feeling it will have plenty of bugs at launch anyway, since it's basically a new game and I can't remember the last time a new game released in a polished state. So yeah, as long as it will come to Steam eventually (since I already have all the 3 Mafia games there), I'm fine with waiting.
Did Mafia 1 have PhysX? I never played Mafia 1, but I did buy the Mafia 2 collector's edition and I enjoyed it.
The first Mafia is currently a brilliant story with amazing characters, wrapped up in a very clunky game. With horrible driving, poor shooting... and just "eh" gameplay. Mafia 2 is an amazing story and characters, in a great game. Solid gameplay (shooting and driving)... it's my favorite in the series because it nailed every aspect of the game. Mafia III... I love. And I maintain is a great game. An amazing and beautiful story, well written and incredible characters. A great world, solid driving and hefty, engaging combat. The game does suffer trying to branch into a full "open world" design... but, it's still a great title. And, if they go in and actually polish up some rough spots in 3, it would be amazing. Mafia 2 had PhysX. And had amazing use of it, but, it could be very taxing on hardware at the time.
Oh, ok, but, if you look at the screenshots of 2, real changes have been made. Not THAT big, but still, better than vanilla 2.
so august 28 it is for the release date, love to replay this with revamped graphics, the original is probably is to me in the top 3 best games ever made
Owners of Mafia 2/3 get the new versions for free starting today. Mafia 1 Remake comes August and will need to be bought. Sadly, no new trailer for Mafia 1. https://www.pcgamer.com/mafia-2-def...are-out-now-free-for-owners-of-the-originals/
^ Well, according to Steam: Mafia II Classic has ~ 8Gb and Mafia II DEFINITIVE Edition have ~ 46 GB.Well... MAfia II is good, especially because of Joe's voice actor: "Welcome to Empire Bay,bam! car accident!"
