There have been comparison videos already done. Low turns off a few post processing effects, but has little impact on any other visual aspects of the game.

Possibly via LUA injection, there's no way to make use of these in the release version of the game but if the LUA injector for Mafia 2 could be updated (It's being worked on.) it might be possible to call the commands from that. :)

As for dumping these strings with Process Explorer yes that's what I used but the "Arxan" anti-tamper tech (If that's what it is, also used in GTA V and some of the Win10 Store games.) makes a plain text dump difficult with the state the game exe is in so you have to switch from "image" to "memory" and then dump those strings and then you'll get the actual readable plain text strings that way. :)

I found though if you set prefix to low and then turn shadows, terrain and reflexions to high it makes the game character blurry. I even made the game crash at a couple of times when changing just those settings, it runs fine and looks great though if I just leave it at low.

Can you tell me what is your GPU usage overall?

I find it strange that mine is using around 70-80% at full clock speed while the game is locked at 30fps.

I do run at 1440p if that makes a difference.

    Fixed my remapping issue.

Trying to remap controls to buttons associated with other controls... breaks them.
Like, I use EDSF to move. So, remapping "interact" from E to SPACE broke the control. As SPACE was already being used for something else.

I had to remap all controls to the number pad, and arrow keys. Opening up the keyboard.
I could then, go back and remap everything back to my normal setup. And from there, everything works fine. SO... now... I'm going to actually play the game. :)

I was right then, something is wrong with my setup after all.

You sure your GPU uses 32% in Mafia 3 at 1440p? i found a video, and the GPU usage seems about right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viGWHy_5dyY

Probably because it disables the CA and FXAA? I dunno.

    I'm using this preset: https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/6206/

I changed the sharpening and using very high numbers cause the game is super blurry and it still is even with lumasharpening set to 3.25 lol.

EDIT: I like that you can hear the radio when you alt-tab and it mutes everything else.

So even after a reinstall I still have this bug lol :infinity: would a kind soul mind dropping me a save file to see if it does it part way into the game... I've ran out of ideas and can't find any fix.

SweetFX keeps making Mafia III crash.
Probably really easy to figure out... but... too tired to care. I'll mess with it later.

Reshade 3 with Adaptive Sharpen enabled (Default settings) took care of the blurrines for me. Is anyone heard a way to change draw distance and/or lod from config files?
