but is there anyone that runs ultra?
anyway i think I should change the Ultra ones. So I just tested and even if the textures are better. the ailising is unbearable. I cant deal with it
High @ Ultra you dont need to forget their are basicly 2 ultra modes one with enhanced Object Detail (Higher Mesh resolution) and one without as Nvidia showed it both is dependent in the setup.
Ultra textures just aren't worth the performance hit. I use high as well.
I haven't tried ultra since coming to this mod. From what I remember, there is hardcore stuttering while driving. Walking around isn't bad but driving was impossible.
Other texture packs are too low in quality or too much aliasing.
High Quality is enough while Performance is fluid too = Best experience!
Okey guys so heres the drill. I finished moding the game now. I will upload HQ
version in ONLY two atmospheres. Just because Im feeling extra nice.. haha. The
atmospheres are HQ Subtle an HQ Warm. Just be aware that they do not look like
my previous atmosphere. You can see subtle

The version will be totally tweakable meaning. You may choose Medium , High , Ultra
and Custom. These settings have been tweaked and optimised. meaning they are
much better than vanilla and you get all the eye candy. The mods will include
modified high and ultra textures. meaning you will see some ultra textures when
playing on high and you WILL BE ABLE to play on Ultra with minimal stuttering
nevertheless I would recommend you to put the graphics settings on high when
playing with ultra textures. you might be surprise. My high graphics settings are superior than vanilla and much more optimised
Some of Sunsets textures are being use in the Ultra setting
Couldn't you make a Map of your Tonemapping showing all the results @ different TODs and Weather states instead of only 1 ?

This version contains my tweaked setting with higher lods,resolutions,
tessellations and particles, you name it. This version is heavy on my
system and I cant promise performance gains on Ultra.
Minimunn Systemspecs: GTX670, I7 CPU. 16GB RAM. or equivalent
This mods is aim to those who want more graphic fidelity and smoother game play.
This mod has been tested with a GTX670 and GTX670 SLI only so I cannot account
for poor performance on lower systems
List of changes, features and modifications:
- Realistic colorgrading presets

Use this settings:
SMAA = Vanilla Temporal SMAA

Unpack and put the patch files(patch.fat and patch.dat in your data_win64 folder in
your Watch Dogs directory Put my SweetFX in the bin folder in your Watch Dogs directory.
The sweetfx is optional only if you want the border. Replace your gamerprofile located
in your documents/ mygames/ Watchdogs with mine.
Known Mod related Bugs and Issues
Seldom flicker may be seen but has been partially fixed.
Seldom ailising may be seen when running high textures
Seldom particle may suffer from light source leaking due
to the new dynamic particle illumination.
Any other issue you may find is not mod related and if it
is please report it on my thread and I will provide support

I use ultra but I got a 780ti..
I use ultra as well but haven't noticed a difference in regards to high

What are the differences in textures? I'm seeing textures that were about 21mb that are now 2mb. You mentioned incorporating some of Sunsets textures, how many were there? Enhancing performance is a good thing, but I'm not sure how great texture files that are about 10% of their original size are going to look. It looks like the majority of the graphics folder's included here (I did finally get mine unzipped, so I could compare). Are these mainly just without mipmaps, or are they resized like Sunsets? I'd just check myself, but there's just too many.
Usually Ultra means stuttering for me - and when I talk about stuttering, it has nothing to do with FPS - I have 2 x titans, but for some reason (I know I'm not alone) the game stutters on Ultra.
I'll give this new HQ version a go - so Lunayah, can we adjust the settings in-game without affecting your mod?
EDIT: I just downloaded you latest HQ and it doesn't contain an xml file - are we suppose to use an old one?

I just downloaded your new file. Their is a file folder called "demo", it contains only screenshots.....ooops!
What do you mean? I've already ripped this mod apart and it doesn't look much different than any of the others (file wise) nothing is msising.
It does seem to have Sunset's textures. I'm not sure how many, but seems to maybe be all of them. It's mainly the _textures folder, but I noticed odd file sizes for textures in the char01 folder too, so I'm not really sure. I removed the _textures and replaced the character folder with my own, and the game seems to play pretty well. I do notice a difference in performance from v3.1, but at max settings it still plays pretty well.
I like the change in this mod, there was a lot less I felt I needed to change. Firstly I noticed the much more realistic bloom effects. v3.1 had very unrealistic lighting, the Owl Motel parking lot was lit up like it was day time (this is a common issue in every mod released on Guru though) Other than my own custom outfits and Kadzait's vehicle tweaks I didn't need to add anything.
