    Attention folks

As I have already said on the first page of my thread.
I will not be doing any user request since it takes time
I don't have to personalize everything. Be aware that
my mods will only be 4 atmosphere versions and maybe
a HQ version for really high-end machines nothing more.
If you wish to have any different cameras, dof, lod, shadows,
textures you will be more than welcome to follow the how
to mod link on my first post and edit my mod to your liking.
I hope you guys are fine with this.

    Best regards...

    Lol hahah

Try to focus on a more dense rain, colder weather in Chicago and with the wind, more dust/dirt.

Another point that helps visually are the lights.

For the most part personalizing any of the mods for yourself isn't too hard, you just have to take the time to learn how. Particularly DOF, cameras, and textures. Pretty much all of these are just copy and paste. So if you want different options just download TW0.8 and pull them out of the config files.

Denser rain fall would be pretty cool. I think it's either in the Storm.lib or the windy_city_game.xml. I haven't found exactly where yet.

I was going to merge lunayah 3.1+Maldo's v3 like you... how did you merge them? you get such a small 315mb patch.dat file, while Maldo's textures v3 are around 1,2 gbytes.

I integrated MalDo's textures in v3.1, too and my patch.dat has 1,41GB now.

Yeah I too have played around with far LOD settings. Looking across the water from the city to the big wind mills looks very nice, you can see so many more trees and small details. But.. it is a fps killer that's for sure. LOD settings can be a funny thing. I found out I could wall hack by changing a couple numbers. Anyways I think if Ubisoft can totally get rid of the stuttering for everyone. We can turn up the LOD a little more. I know I would love to turn it up more. For those who use full time DoF they might as well turn the LOD down just about where the DoF reaches. No point in having it out far if the DoF is going to blur it. Doing so will give more performance and I hope you have taken that into consideration. I don't use your mod so I don't know if you have. Nice job from the pics I have seen though. It looks better than "he who shall not be named" ;)

I think the normal LOD in the game looks fine. It's just those cars. What was Ubisoft thinking? They materialize in plain view, even on the highest LOD-setting. It's so hideous. -.-

Question, did you go into the WD tool config files, and copy everything from inside the texture version folder? Or when you copied the graphics folder did you overwrite files? I didn't overwrite anything so I'd leave the mod intact, and just add the textures in (so yes, some where in fact left out. You're free to do what ever you want, but I can assure you the version I uploaded is correct. Size isn't everything guys lol.

Can I see comparison shots? Does it really make a difference?

I didn't merge anything at first. I dl'd your link above v3.1 with maldos textures, but maldos _textures folder is like 1.3gb and the textures in the link you posted was only like 170mb.

I ended up just doing something else anyways. Thanks for your upload though.

I unlocked the incar camera, now you can look 90 degrees to the left and 160 to the right.

Hmm well.. I guess I could give those a go. Using stronger lens flares look good on video but in game its more annoying than anything. If you look at this video I recorded "link below". I added some bloom and also made the lens flare a bit brighter to see how it would look. On video its looks pretty good but as I was playing I kept complaining to myself that they were too bright for full time use. They were too distracting for me and it always goes back to, everyone has their own taste. Like me, I hate bloom when I play Watch Dogs but I like it for videos. I'll keep tweaking and I will give the E3 flares a go. There is way to make them less noticeable on clearer nights and that's something that has to be done.

Maybe you need to make it a little more transparent lens
