Until 3-4 days ago i had no issues Everything ran flawlessly with no stutters or frame drops whatsover. Since then i see 98-99% gpu utilization on dx12 games like ac valhalla, forza horizon 5 only report 180-230w gpu usage on my msi suprim x rtx3080ti and the frame rates drop below 40-50 whether its 4k 1440p or 1080p. Irrespective of any graphic settings.

COD MW too i get half the frame rates i usually got in the past The experience in general is extremely stuttery with long random stutters , not just low fps. The connectors are fine, when i use the Heaven benchmark i see utilisation upto 380-390 watts and the bench marks were very good.
3d mark fire strike also runs well
Timespy runs good but not a highenough score for my card

but dx12 games have basically dropped to half the fps .

Whats the fix everything is set for high priority.

GPU settings mention maximum performance for power management. Driver is 526.47. Tried clean installations too using ddu too .Tried various other drivers too.

Reinstalled games and checked too, what can be the cause? I also switched back to older drivers just in case The frame rates are not affected on older games like Diablo 3 , Watchdogs etc

Anything DX11 runs flawlessly still just dx12 is affected it seems.

Also tried the dx12 exploit protection fix but no good results.

    Please help.

I noticed this same issue playing the division 2 after updating to the latest driver and again updating to the latest beta from Nvidia, but then again I do have Icue, Msi center, Lconnect and Afterburner running, although Ive been running my system like this for quite some time its the first time I've had this issue, I`ll reinstall later when I finish work.

not really . i do clean installs. Regardless even if a driver was the only issue it should be solved when i use ddu in safe mode wipe off the old stuff and then do a clean install. tried it multiple times with different drivers later to re- following the process. but no luck.

its not a minor drop like we have for driver updates. fh5 where i get 100-105 fps on 1440p i get 35-40 fps even on 1080p. this is something wrong.
vulkan games are not as badly affected as d12 games.

and d11 games are running exactly as before with 0 drop in performance.

That being said there neither game updates , nor driver updates happened before the issue started occurring for me.

connectors are fine as for external benchmarks i am drawing 400w too in some cases without any issues for extended periods.

i still run windows 10 ultimate 64 bit, but thanks will check my gfe version and update later when i get back . When using ddu to wipe stuff, i dont reinstall gfe with the driver but just the driver.

You got the "I need new HW virus...". Happens to ppl susceptible to new tech and toys... Anytime something shiny and expensive comes out, owners of top of end HW suddenly finds their gear slow or outdated or not working... We can count the infection in this forum and report it to the CDC.

The real fix is to close your eyes, take out the credit card or spread those cheeks, and get the 4090 RTX or AMD 7950XTX!

Suddenly your FPS will come back with a cherry on top and you are feeling better. Works everytime.

I disagree. What i mentioned is a genuine issue and not somebody crying over 10-15 fps losses caused by drivers sometimes. This is unique and something i have never experienced before/ I shared it here in case somebody has experienced it or knows a fix around it. if not no problem i will find my way around it .

I also only change gear once every 5-7 years unless there is a breakdown which is rare.

The word "suddenly" implies things were working 100% fine up to a certain point. After which it deteriorated.

i do not find any of my gear outdated or not working. Your post on this thread is as useless as a hair comb is to a bald person . But maybe that's your humor. Regardless its trash.

I am least bothered about any new amd/ nvida gpu or any intel / amd processor until 2025 which would be for another system and not the current one.

Kindly refrain from presuming stuff if it doesn't solve anybody's issue or atleast contribute towards trouble shooting it.

I'd like to suggest to take a look at Event Viewer, Reliability Monitor and such. And uninstall apps & drivers that have been installed or automatically updated just before your problem started. Could be Citrix Receiver display driver or something you wouldn't suspect at all.
