I wonder if the next gen cards are coming out earlier then anticipated?

Thank you,Volition has stated on their forums that they're in talks with AMD/ATI right now to try and resolve the issues.

I know I can't wait personally, they say the 7970 is supposed to have more then 2x the power of a 6970, same for the supposed GTX 680 vs 580

I say more then 2x the power because while the 7970 has 2x the amount of features the 6970 has, its also on a 28nm process, which will bump performance up 10% or so

As for the GTX 680 I haven't seen any specs on it yet, other then Nvidia said its twice the performance. But based on AMD's revision and road map so far I really don't doubt it

P.S. They say the 7970 is out this january, though personally I am going to wait for the non-reference cards like MSI Lightning series etc, I still think 6970 and gtx 580 reference cards run far too hot

Funny, cause I look at the Nvidia side, they have a mythria of issues too

But I don't say anything as stupid and jaded as "You wrong, at 3 ppl who have no problems with this game is thousand who has."

funny I did not see 1 thread in the nvidia section both cards and driver section dedicated to problems running SR3. If you look hard enough you will find a few nvidia guys with driver problems. the people without any problems tend to not make threads that the game is problem free.

It's very playable, the fps is lower than you'd espect but consistent with no sudden frame drops. But yeah not what you'd expect from an amd evolved title.

game runs fine here, i dropped down to 4xaa rest on ultra(max) and it flies. At 8xaa its very much playable but i didnt like low 60fps drops..

Ok even at 4xaa i get some weird mid 50fps when driving through the city, but other then that its way above 60fps all the time..Could be its cpu depended in this part..

And not many people here are having issues either. You are over-generalizing again cause you see 3-4 users here having issues, you act like ALL users must be having issues

You are recording video with MSI Afterburner, even my PC I can reduce TF2 from 299FPS too 110FPS by FRAPsing video and the GPU remains at 100% use

Anyways, how did you get the video to upload in 1080P? Every time I try uploading a video in it always makes it 420p, what format do you need to use?

no I said if like 5-6 nvidia users have issues then thousands do not have issues. I have said this all along. It is a confirmed driver issue with ati cards, however some people claim not to have this problem. Please prove that I am wrong, do not just say it. linking 2 or 3 nvidia game problems just confirms my position even more

recording uses the cpu not the gpu.

and I just record and upload and it shows up in the right resolution.
