Bench session over. It's f.u.c.k.in.' smooth on my rig:nerd:

Vista 64, CPU@3500, ATI Catalyst 10.6 (no overclock, no mods)

dx9 (1920x1200, MSAA 8x, rest on high), CrossfireX Enabled

    Bench A
    Scene 1: 128.6 FPS (GPU's load 58%...82%) CPU limited
    Scene 2: 95.9 FPS (GPU's load 44%...60%) CPU limited
    Scene 3: 105.8 FPS (GPU's load 44%...60%) CPU limited

    Bench B
    55 FPS (GPU's load 28%...44%) CPU limited

dx11 (1920x1200, MSAA 8x, Dx11 high, rest on high), CrossfireX Enabled

    Bench A managed with CrossfireX
    Scene 1: 65.2 FPS (GPU's load 99%) GPU limited
    Scene 2: 59.3 FPS (GPU's load 99%) GPU limited
    Scene 3: 77.5 FPS (GPU's load 99%) GPU limited

Bench B without CrossfireX (as program stop respond)
    38.6 FPS (GPU's load 99%) GPU limited

I expect to play this game on Dx11 at 1920 maxed out and smooth. Either ATI have to put their s.h.i.t.t. together and optimize the drivers or the game s.u.c.k.s. as it looks to be "made by nvidia".

    downloading.

i really can't wait to play LP2, i haven't finished LP1 yet though.. working on it. :nerd:

because it's just a benchmark and because some people are internet capped with a limited monthly quota (some as low as 3gb per month?!) and it would be a damn shame to waste their bandwidth it just to run a benchmark.

that's hardly an excuse, it would take you only about 1 hour to download it, my 2nd connection is only 106kb/s (1mbit) so you're 80kb/s faster and still i don't complain. :D

my main connection is 4mbit though about 450kb/s

    Well,i got rank B with 37fps average on all high settings dx11 1680*1050 - test B
I dont know about test A,but i can say that Capcom should have hired someone who can actually play the game and not just run around like crazy.

On the other hand that game looks pretty outdated despite being dx11,almost like the first game.
I felt like i was back in 2007....

Ati have been putting their s**t together for a long time now,and so far no results.I think we'll grow gray hair long before we see a good driver from them....

For me, going from 4xAA to 2 didn't do much, less than 1FPS avg faster. Impresses me that LP2 runs better than the first while looking better.

really could care less about the graphics with this game. So long as it plays smooth and is as entertaining as LP1, this will be a hit.

Running with max settings no AA 1900x1200 on a single 5770 10.7 I get around 45fps avg on test A. Game runs smooth at 30fps which is incredible really, other than that I will be looking to crossfire soon to get this game playing where it needs to be.

    Textures looks like crap.
    Water looks like crap.
The DX11 effects are not noticeable at all. Tested between High and Low.
    AI is crap.

BUT, can't judge the game since this is a bench. Will wait for a demo (which i doubt there ever will one)

Got a B on both test with DX11 effects on High @1280x960

I see that not only ATI have issues running in Crossfire but nvidia also. They just released a profile for it and hope ATI will do the same.

The bench is running VERY SMOOTH on my system (dx11, 1920x1200, MSAA 8x, Dx11 high, rest on high) Bench B without CrossfireX with 38.6 FPS means that in Crossfire I'll be between 55 and 65 FPS.

In dx9 I have a massive CPU limitation, as the GPU's load is between 30% and 80% (only peack) and the medium FPS is around 120.

I'm still waiting for Crysis to see how my CrossfireX will manage with enthusiast setup:3eyes:.

I see the same. There is not such a big "visual" difference between dx9 and dx11.:3eyes:

I played about the half of the first one and get bored:frown:. I hope this one will have more action and will make me finish.

As expected, NVIDIA are impressively quick to react but it is a TWIMTBP title after all so it would have been embarassing for them had they not.

I doubt ATI were even aware of this but I've let them know via their Catalyst Feedback Form. Now we just have to wait two or three months for them to add a profile to the drivers! :3eyes:
